Love hearing that you are mostly, but not completely plant based. I eat an egg about once a week because it really makes me feel Good. I also don't worry if something has a little bit of cheese or milk.

I think that's totally fine! I sometimes have eggs as well because I agree they make me feel good :) dairy for me is a no-go bc of sensitivities, but as long as it's from a good source and is full-fat, I'm fine with it for others!

Alyssa tfs this...You can tell youve done the research, read the information & done the study because you came across very confident in your views & armed with the answers to questions we might have. Have followed you since your early days & youve blossomed & grown in confidence with your maturity. Keep up the good work sweet girl. Cheers from Australia 👋👋👋

Alyssa, I love this. I've been following you for a while now on my personal RU-vid and always love making your recipes (especially the roasted broccoli soup). I recently just started this YT channel and I'm actually studying Holistic Nutrition this year, I'm super excited and this video gets me even more pumped. I think I've been trying to figure out what I'll do with my certification when I'm done but to be honest, I'm just excited to learn and turn that part of my brain back on. Thanks for this!

I'm glad I found this video. I was thinking of becoming a dietitian or going to school for nutrition, but the study does not focus on plant based nutrition or the benefits. Ethically, I wouldn't agree with anything I would be paying to study... I also don't really want to work in a hospital or school. I think a certification would be the best option for me right now as I figure out my path. Thank you!

I attended TSU for 2 years first years for Dietetics and the second I changed my major to just Nutrition l feel that it helped but we weren't learning anything and those 2 years kinda felt like a waste of time and it wasn't the plant based route I am seeking for a Holistic program as well to get my certification hoped this helped a little!

Wow this was one of the best videos I’ve watched in a long time! Can’t wait to dive into these resources you have provided. I am wanting to go to a holistic doctor but can’t afford it because I’m a paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars a month on pill doctor insurance 😔😞 Would love to see if you could come out with a plan for hormonal acne.

I know this video is a few years old but I found it useful as I'm about to sign up for the CHN program through AFPA but I'm curious what you and others who have taken the course think is better...ebooks, textbooks, or both?! I know it's really personal preference but nice to her opinions. :)

For me, it's not about being 100% anything if that makes sense. I feel better eating mostly plant-based, but I also feel okay eating eggs and fish on occasion. The balance aspect of it is really important to me and honestly, I just listen to what my body is telling me and what it's craving :)

Brianna Crisel vegans have an ethical reasoning to not consuming animal products and DO NOT eat any animal products not even occasionally. Plant Based people don’t care as much about the ethics and animal well being they focus more on the health and environmental aspects.

I am completely vegan as far as food is concerned but other areas of veganism I decide on a practical basis for example I don't buy toiletries and house hold cleaning products with animal ingredients and that are tested on animals.

This ia a very interesting video. Right now im struggling with candida and food sensitivities. I've lost a lot of weight which I don't like cause one I look malnourished. I'm not doing a plantbased diet. But for a long time ive been wanting to. My diet consists of organic meat, chicken eggs and fish, and vegetables and very little fruit. I feel it has helped me somewhat but I somehow know that a plantbased diet well prepared look over my overall calories can help me heal. I would like to know which of your two programs would you recommend. Or if I should do them been I'm underweight I am 5"11 weighting at 129ib. I will appreciate your response. Also I'm thinking of certifying holistically don't know yet tho when cause at the moment I'm a bit busy. Do you have a video where you explain more about the certification program? Thank you so much!

Simply Quinoa oh ok! I love a bunch of the ones you mentioned! I need to see the others. Also, I recommend the book How not to die by Dr. Michael Greger. It has helped me with the health aspect of things. Kidney disease and high blood pressure. I think it's a good tool to have under your belt. And thanks for the info on your certification 💪🏼

Hello! I just found you on youtube, love your channel! I am looking at a couple of different coaching programs. Do you mind me asking, does the program promote a100% plant based diet or does it include animal meats as well? Thanks!

Happy New Year! I love your videos! I'm still struggling eliminating meat from my diet. I know that a plant based diet is the best diet but I'm struggling especially when I get stressed I turn to unhealthy food. Do you have any tips on how to get back on track and how to stay motivated? Thanks.

Honestly? I think my program Powered by Plants would be perfect for you. I'm not just saying that to try and "sell" you, but we talk about those EXACT struggles. You'll get a step by step plan to make the transition, with actionable items to take each week, you'll get a 3-day reset plan and you'll get accountability from our group. It covers pretty much everything you just mentioned above :) Let me know if you have questions!

how are u going to be a holistic health coach/ nutritionist if you aren't even 100% percent vegan and plant based. Practice what your preach ... I feel like it isn't right that you are coaching people about their diet but you yourself aren't eating completely healthy and plant-based. Why should someone take your advice and knowledge if you yourself are not even eating what is best for you.
@JonesLeFae
@JonesLeFae 6 лет назад
Just because a person eats a little dairy doesn't mean they are not eating healthy. She obviously is eating what is best for her and I am sure she is eating everything she shows us. Everyone is different. Personally, I eat a mostly plant-based diet, but I do eat eggs once a week because I find they make me feel really good when I do. I don't know what it is, but maybe it is a type of protein that just gives me a boost once-in-a-while. Many years ago, I stopped eating eggs because I had high cholesterol and the doctor told me I shouldn't eat eggs at all. Ideas about cholesterol have changed since then, but I didn't eat eggs for 11 years, until I was pregnant and found out that eggs were one of the few foods that i could actually hold down (they didn't make me throw up like most foods did!) So, I started eating them again, but I make sure they are from a good source- small farms that raise their chickens humanely and vegetarian, etc....

Jones LeFae Holistic/naturopathic doctors believe in eating a plant based vegan diet. They believe the herbs heal..... I'm saying it does not make since how she got this certificate but still eats animal products. Have you heard of Dr.Sebi for an example he is a real natural health coach. He eats natural foods and spreads knowledge about them . i'm saying why be a "natural" or "holistic" health coach if u aren't just eat herbs. She is being very misleading
@JonesLeFae
@JonesLeFae 6 лет назад
I don't think she is misleading at all. Like I said, everyone has different nutritional needs and nobody is perfect. I believe herbs heal too, but you don't have to eat only herbs to be healthy. What do you mean by that anyway? I think a well-balanced diet is the key, rather than only this or only that.
