I want to renew a broken down an old wood and iron park-bench style bench, what type of wood would you recommend to replace the deteriorating wood on it? They run the length of the bench and mainly make up the seat of it - they're prob 3/4" x 2.5-3" x 4-4.5". It's often rainy where I'm at, and want it to last.
