I don't know. I use rigs which already have armor. Check out Ice cube and entertainers rigs. they have many options, and some of them should have armors as well.

Hey, you can use McPrep and also BSS packs, they have many mobs and villagers. Watch my beginner tutorial series part 2 if you don't have those packs. Their options work for cycles but most of them should work for Eevee as well.
