Here are Top 10 Cars of 2024 in terms of Most Popular Cars in India. Also are some cars which are selling in poor numbers and can be avoided by car buyers as they may be discontinued in Indian Market in Future
Indian car buyers generally prioritise the following aspects while making purchase decisions: 1. Fuel economy 2. Service Network 3. Resale value 4. Number of models and variants available, including CNG/EV variants to cater for a range of customer choices and budgets. 5. Comfort (including AC performance) and ride quality. 6. Additional features in terms of infotainment system, cameras, parking sensors, etc. It is because of these factors that Indian consumers generally prefer brands such as Maruti and Hyundai, which check most of these boxes (except for EV where Tata is the market leader). Sadly, European brands have not caught on in popularity, despite their excellent build quality (including meeting high safety standards) and performance, probably because they lack in some of these aspects. Fiat and Peugeot have already exited and I only hope that VW/Skoda, Renault and Citroen don't follow.
@mycarhelpline Sir very informative..when are you planning to change your existing city ...which car will you buy if given an option in SUV and sedan less than 18 lac and compact SUV less than 13 lacs..sir also you are recommending maruti cars which other than brezza which is ranking low on safety ..also mileage is thing to be considered.
Owning a Tata car is not a hassle free experience. 5 star safety doesn’t matter if you have to visit service centre every now and then and that too with not so great service experience!
Iam owning used nexon 2018 model from 3 years and believe me iam more than happy and proud to own nexon. No service issue untill now. Really kudos to tatas for all new cars in the market
@@TRUEIndian413 Your individual case does not reflect the overall experience of Indian buyers. If Tata makes such wonderful cars, why don't they export to Western (or even third world) countries? You got the answer!
It's not one individual experience. If they are producing no. 1 selling car, it shows people are liking Tata cars despite negative comments on service or fit. Tata Nexon running for last 4 years, no issues.
@@ldnoida001 exports arent really a good point. Ford also doesnt have much presence in a lot of countries. But you are correct. Tata motors has a lot to improve, and i do hope they do.
DCT no undersupport , so if you car hits a bumper and scraps, transmission will cost you. After sales, service, parts availability, resale value and cost BAD. Otherwise NO DOUBT a good car to drive.
Own skoda Rapid TDI and polo TDI. Initial 5 years under warranty were beautiful, then service is a serious issue. Rapid after reaching 96000 km almost all parts need replacement. AC gone twice, changed clutch twice, Changed fly wheel, engine issue mileage has dropped as low as petrol car Polo 50000 km doing well, can't afford company service. Each parts cost minimum 25000-50000. Get it serviced from local mechanics.
@@zZ-yw9hnI ditched Slavia just because of pathetic AC. 999 CC engine comes with small compressor hence AC is not quite powerful. For Indian conditions it is not sufficient enough.
@@nikhilPUD01Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, Volkswagen. If you purchase any of a car from these brands then you don't have to worry about the reliability of car. And no unnecessary trip to service centre. Except for regular maintenance only you have to go service centre
@nikhilPUD01 suzuki and Toyota, from my experience. Service advisor was fired after feedback call from suzuki he was trying to scam and work was not completed properly. They once again serviced my car for free and everything is working fine.
I like, 2010 year, discontinued, Rs 1 lakh, 2 cylinder 624 cc engine, unsafe indian car i.e "Tata Nano". 🤔🤔😃😃 -indians are now waiting for 5 door Mahindra Thar in 2 wheel drive & 4 wheel drive models.
Bhai Ji, KIA Sonet iMT GTX Plus diesel 2023 model kitne tak le to thik rahega . Car abhi 5500 chali hai. Or ye showroom walo ne demo purpose se use ki hai.
Tata punch is very uncomfortable at the rear seat , I’ve observed it & look it’s the top selling car & tht too compact suv , I think it’s fits in the segment of micro .
Tata cars are selling on emotions. After driving Tiago for 7+ years, it has given me headaches in terms of reliability. Still good to see competition among car brands, at least Tata, mahindra has compelled Maruti and others to focus of quality, Fronx being the latest addition which seems great in terms of quality, waiting for its crash test.....
Heard about some after sales service issues with Skoda..maybe that's one of the reason of their downfall despite having awesome cars. And about citroen, I was once interested in buying citroen, but other brands are more value for money than citroen.
Sir, maybe Alto sales are not that much because the "have nots" are no longer growing and joining the queue of the "haves". This is the result of our economy's K-shaped recovery.
Gagan Sir, what about Honda? There are question marks about their future in India....whats the insider story of Honda India. I simply love their VTEC and have been dreaming about Turbo+VTECH ....
Being an owner of Skoda slavia I feel that the after sales service is the weak link. The product is amazingly good. Doesn't look flashy and don't come with so many unnecessary features but it does best when it comes to what a car should be. Driven my slavia over 30,000kms in 11 months and no mechanical issues till date. I get good mileage of 18kmpl which is good because it is in hilly region. The brake pads are still very thick which will last another 15,000kms. Service interval is at 15,000km so it doesn't require you to visit the service center frequently. I got the SMP offer for free during my purchase and I haven't spent a single rupee on the car till date. These are some things which you won't get from other brands in India.
After a thorough research on Nexon, Taigun, Kushaq and Honda City, I finally settled on Kushaq. Yeah there maybe a few features missing and may look a little smaller than the rest in the segment. But it always puts a smile on my face! ☺️
I suggest spending a bit more and go for the 4 cylinder 1.5 TSI EVO engine with ACT (cylinder deactivation), thats the best engine technology you can get as on today
Y SCORPION and not XUV700 which in front and 2nd row is far more comfortable and easy to sit, ingress and egress. Petrol or Diesel.. which one should I buy- running and maintainance cost???
Honda all three cars -City , AMAZE , ELEVATE are fantastic cars , refined engines , good mileage , better Safety compared to similar other company cars , trouble free upto 15-20 years , good paint quality . Pricing is very competitive and VFM. AMAZE automatic CVT is around 10 lakhs.

Kindly help - MARUTI SUZUKI CHEATED ALTO 800 VXI+ BUYERS - IT IS CLEARLY MENTIONED IN THE BROCHURE OF ALTO 800 VXI+ THAT IT HAS SMART PLAY STUDIO. BUT IT DOES NOT WORK.
Gaganji was one of the many youtubers who commented that Punch is very overpriced immediately after launch. But Indians kept buying it and made punch winner

Sir, if I'm planning for a SUV with better ground clearance and most reliable family car within 8.5 lakhs range which one should I choose ? Kindly suggest the best one please.
I'm a frustrated Nexon petrol bs4 2019 owner. This car is high maintenance. Steering rattling noise, vibrations, harsh engine, pathetic service... Bakwass hai ekdm
People want fancy features and low price products in India. They dont value really good cars like VW/Skoda with the best driving dynamics. That's a sad reality. We Indians don't value quality over quantity (lots of features and low cost) 😞. I hope this changes with increase in purchasing power of the people.
1.) Lack of education 2.) People go by word of mouth 3.)Most people who buy fancy low end cars are from villages / small towns who dont have any idea of what they are buying 4.) Lack of proper service centers in small towns 5.) Most car Mechanics of companies themselves dont have knowledge of the car they are selling 6.) Govt is promoting Tata and Mahindra cars with inferior engines over the popular Honda, Toyota or VW/Skoda engines which are imported
Go with 5 people १००km+ in Virtus .....you will find it one of the bakwaas in Segment .....not at all comfort .....Maruti Ciaze has too Cmfort than Virtus
hi. I regularly watch your videos. they make s much sense. I have 1 question I am seeking answers to: My car turns 15 years old in Feb 2025. Its current value is 2.5 lakhs as per Spinny. Will its value reduce after Feb 2025? Thanks.
Tata cars have improved a lot and I am owning one new car I have driven 1000kms in a single sitting....I must say handling, stability and build, suspension is awesome
The reason cheap cars are not selling is because cost of ownership is very high. People think, its better to invest 1-2 L extra and rather buy a more popular car like swift, baleno rather than Alto,Kwid etc. The cheaper models do not have any features at all. And the cng models start costing 5-6+ L.
Punchs rear looks so odd to me personally, Baleno has great refined engine but considering other cars in its category I feel the ride is bouncy , wagonr is a cheap car if we consider its other competitors
IN CASE OF CITREON, ONE BIG REASON IS THEIR DALERSHIPS ARE NOT REGISTERED WITH CSD, I TRIED TO BOOK ONE, BUT WAS DISSAPOITED, VERY FEW DEALERS HAVE CSD REGISTRATION, THAT TOO IN SOME STATES ONLY.,..VERY GOOS CARS, BUT THEY NEED TO REVAMP THE DEALER NETWORK,...MOST DEALERS ARE THOSE WHO LEFT FROM FORD, AND ARE NOT PROFFESIONAL
Skoda - Volkswagen:: suffering due to lack of interior quality issues, not up to the mark of German brand plastic & rubber material used. Inside does not feel like Skoda - Volkswagen car. Rest everything is fine.
Quality, Reliability. Honda, Toyota and Hyundai. I have Honda City for 15 yrs. Paint Quality is such that looks better than even 2-3 yrs old other brand cars. No change in comfort , quiteness of engine. NVH of new car and it's deterioration tells about Quality of vehicle.
He is hyped Tata maruti and Mahindra. All are low on quality high on sales. As a buyer I want quality. Can’t make a choice based on what folks with no quality focus are buying
Concern list mai to Nissan Renault de zyada mujhe Honda ka chinta hai.. only 3 cars amaze , city & elevate with no progress on turbo. Upaarse Honda dealerships are not customer frndly anymore. Showrooms hv tendencies of overloading features and variant forcefully to customers. There are numerous customers who left elevate and went for Nexon/creta/seltos just bcz of showroom behaviour
Companies should focus more on hatchback models. Like VW Golf , Kia Rio and Toyota Corolla. Atleast companies should try and see how the youngsters respond to these cars.
@@ashishgupta694 it's because of the lack of 6 airbags, adas and isofix mounts.......Aaj ke time pr punch bhi 5 star nhi la skti.........5 stars now are not based on built quality rather than features.......C3 ka kerb weight is same as punch for your reference......so do your research first rather thn blindly following whatever is published
Bolero Neo ki reliability per ek educational video banaiye Sir. I know it's value for money but is it wise to purchase it in 2024 ? Waiting for your revert.
Thanks @@mycarhelpline lately I'm seeing multiple videos on it's reliability issues but not sure if they are actually that bad to not to consider this product.
