@@Dania.q It all started with me not having a sense of self. I didn't know who I was. I had to learn myself and be unapologetic about who I was becoming and would be. I put God on a pedestal instead of men and gave him control of my life and still do and he keeps blessing me. I also did alot of reading and watched videos. For example learning different attachment theories, psychology of men and women, setting boundaries, having standards, and affirmations helped. You have to learn and love yourself before you can even start worrying about men and dating. It takes time. For me 2 years. But the journey of SELF is worth it because people respect you and men are in search for these kind of women. They'll treat you like a queen and admire everything about YOU. It truly works, you'll attract quality high value men like a magnet😉 and everything else will fall into place. Hope this helped!

You have to love yourself to be able to love someone fully without having to be/feel needy. Because if you love someone else but don't love yourself, you're going to end up being needy when the other person doesn't give you the attention/love you want.

As a high value woman, I have to say someone like myself has no need to use any kind of manipulation in her relationships with others. In fact, when she sees someone attempting to use manipulation with her, she asserts her boundaries without remorse for the consequences-because after all, no true relationship exists with manipulation. I think loving yourself is a general term. It needs to be put in examples or attributes. I see people who say they love themselves, but they come from a broken home with skewed modeling. How do most people know what a healthy version of loving themself is. So I’d say always break down examples or tools of how it looks.

That was messed out and manipulative on so many levels and shows she lacked humility and integrity. She was very entitled. Why did she have to hit below the belt . I have many friends in high places and they all have that quality about them. Entitled in someway manipulative with their communication. People like that I have no respect for. I would never come for another persons life line. Even when myself and future hubby to be sit down to do a prenup . I’m a fair person and wouldn’t do act that would effect his life line. Ie he wouldn’t be homeless living in a car , cuz we divorced and I took everything. That being said, and even though you might have fell short on some of the things she needed from you, she should have never cheated on you especially with a friend. She could have done the decent thing and ended your relationship. But something positive came out of it obviously for you, it pushed you forward to learn more. I believe self love comes with age and experience We discussed why I wait be vulnerable. My date planned a very creative first date. It would require physical activity. I fell asleep and did not take the medication I needed. When I woke up in the morning I temporarily lost the ability of my fine motor skills. I was excited and was looking to this date. I asked him to call me where I explained my situation. He handled with great compassion and adjusted our date to accordingly. I don’t believe anyone (male or female) should mix a business deal with a personal relationship issue. That’s also why I don’t date men who work with me, for me or my bosses.
