5 Day HGV C+E Course... Can I Pass First time? 

Mate,absolutely chuffed to bits for you well done!!!...watching this took me back to passing my test just over a year ago now and I was an absolute nervous wreck,I went from car to class 1,my instructor was amazing and he told me that if any point in the test you see the examiner sit back comfortably and get a sweet out of his pocket and pop it in his mouth it means that he is relaxed and you're doing well,he did exactly that which relaxed me a bit more haha...but it's genuinely a very stresful experience and glad you've done it!

When I passed my class 1 in 2002 I drove a Daf 2800 with a single axle flat bed trailer. Congratulations

Well done mate. I'm surprised you were so nervous at first considering you have experience driving a rigid. Something that helped me with reversing when I first passed was thinking, steering to the left I will see more of the trailer on the right, and steering to the right I will see more of the trailer on the left side. Not sure if it will help but definitely worked for me.

did my class 1 back in november '22 most stressful week of my life! dont even drive artics now just needed it to tow things behind my Rigid Glad i have but wouldnt wanna do that week again lmao! did fail my reverse forgot to do the 2 tugs after recoupling but got lucky and passed it the next day before the driving test. Congrats on passing its a great feeling right? hopefully see you on the road if your conrwall way again

Well done on the cat 1 pass. It’s funny but I always find that class 2 drivers always find the reverse more challenging than car to artic or those with limited experience. Oh and driver hire training being the best out there? Not in my experience. It was some of the most unprofessional, incompetent driver CPC training I’ve ever experienced. Not the best advert for you either.
