i honestly wish they’d give proper rain on ovals, not for officials obv but for ai or hosted. I know it’s stupid but it seems like an insanely fun and silly thing to try to mess with. Imagine a wet indy 500 or something ridiculous lol

You've gotta try Brands hatch indy at max rain. Half the track floods and cars just sail off into the sunset. Matt hosted a race on it and it was very funny

The multi-class "all rain cars" figure 8 race at Slinger that you hosted were incredible scenes. The tiny Ray fighting for its life against GT and prototype cars

1:10 50 MPH though standing water is... guaranteed hydroplaning in real life too. The question for me is should there be so much standing water on the road. It feels like the edges don't drain the way you would expect for a road that isn't in disrepair.

Just tried the week 13 rain race at the Nurburg. I was honesty surprised at how easy it was to adjust and how much fun it was. 100% worth the wait!

Running the Legends car on ovals in the rain is all I did yesterday. It was great, the car actually handles rain really well lol.

Sincerely, once I realized who I was talking to I knew that I was in the wrong because of how clean you race. The fault was mine. I love your vids. I haven’t tried it yet after today’s patch but there was a glitch where you can take non-rain cars to non-rain tracks. If you set AI session weather with a rain enabled car and track, then switch it, back out, then go back in, your weather would be saved as rain enabled

The weird thing to me is the few instances of standing water on banking. If it wasn't such an aggressive angle at times, it wouldn't bug me so much lol.

I honestly just can’t wait til iRacing adds rain tires to the other cars. LMP3s, GT4s, all the NASCAR cars, they’re gonna be so fun. It’ll be interesting to see if before the iRacing N24 if they give Porsche Cup, GT4, and TCR rain tires and have rain on for that race. Especially since 2 of the classes that usually run already have em. Well I say 2, that’s if they allow a class for the GR86 as their production car class if iRacing is even able to allow more than 4 classes in a race.

I can't see them adding rain to nascar events as they don't race in the rain IRL.

@@DustinJames-mk1gl they can. NASCAR races in the rain on road courses and so far flat short ovals, even though they do need to work on how wet the track can be on the flat ovals. They were even testing at Bristol in the wet. Like granted they won’t be able to race in rain in major events like the Daytona 500, Coke 600, and Southern 500, but it’s usually 50/50 of tracks on the irl schedules and iRacing’s NASCAR series like NIS and the other NASCAR Series on iRacing that schedules their races in sync with the irl schedule.

Just a back burner thought but how cool if we could have “damp” conditions since nascar has damp tires now for the short tracks, wouldn’t expect Iracing to really model ovals for rain since that’s not realistic

Driving me crazy that you keep spinning in 1st and 2nd gear without even suggesting a higher gear. may help solve some errs. So I’m the name of fun though.
