A realistic list. In the honorable mentions there are Wawrinka and Djokovic, but not Ferrero, Moya, Okker?

It's Roger on any surface but clay, if Rafa is playing. Novak has a great one, but not as deadly as Roger's.

Federer is the most versatile and precise forehand, especially at his peak - he could do anything with it! It was so good that when he made errors on the forehand, it felt like a glitch in the universe. Nadal's is supreme, SUPREME on clay, a one of a kind specialized wonder, but his forehand is actually a liability elsewhere - but he can hit all sorts of unorthodox strokes on it too. It's the lack of pace and the loopy short balls on other surfaces that has allowed others to beat him more easily. Especially his forehand is a liability against Djokovic on hard court, he simply cannot pressurize opponents like he does on clay. If he had Federer's forehand on other surfaces he could have been invincible. So he will be #2 for me. Djokovic has improved his forehand into a much more attacking weapon now that he lightened his racket and removed a string. He is almost hitting it like a bent arm Federer these days, clean winners in all directions and pressurizing opponents. Gonzo and Del Potro too had cannon ball hitting forehands. Dominic Thiem also had a huge forehand up until his wrist injury. Alcaraz is one of the few modern players to use a straight arm forehand, some hybrid of Federer and Nadal. Sampras had a phenomenal bent arm forehand, especially on the run and his volleying is in a league beyond any player of this era. Then there was James Blake too. But what sets Federer apart is the precision he had on his forehand. Man threaded an absolute needle with it again and again and again, playing the margins finer and riskier than anyone before or since (he actually sent it THROUGH the hole in the net post on his last match!). It did lead to his undoing on the days his precision erred on the wrong side of the net cord or the lines, but no one could or will ever again be able to hit a ball on the bulls eye like he did. Others may hit harder, spinnier, safer, but Fed's forehand was artistry incarnate.

The #1 forehand is Del Potro!¡ and Im gonna say my arguments; when he cone fron injuried he has no backhand; the oppossite of all members of the big 3 and 4 that all of them has their backhands in perfect conditions; Del Potro not!¡ And beat all of them many times just with his forehand with a very weak backhand and most shots from that sidr with an slice
