As an introvert and a quiet guy I can also guarantee that keeping your mouth shut about the things you want to do helps a lot. I got deviated from this habit of keeping quiet lately and I quickly understood the mistake I made. It takes the courage and the self motivation out of your mind when you shout. Be with yourself and let the results speak for themselves.
I love that you admitted you changed your mind about something. So many people mistakenly believe that changing their mind is a sign of weakness and that admitting to people that they changed their mind is the kiss of death. I see it as the opposite - you have the strength to acknowledge that you learned additional facts and re-evaluated your position based on them. It's a sign of growth. I've only watched a few of your videos so far but I want to thank you for being an inspiration that motivates me to not give up on my goals.
If you don't ever change your mind it shows you aren't learning or growing. Intentionally staying ignorant is not a strength it's one of the worst weaknesses. You grow by learning and changing.

To boost myself and reach my goals I'm putting myself out of my comfort zone by moving in a new country and studying a new career path. I'm 30, and I'm pretty sure that every goal is possible, if you have the right mindset to achieve it

Since about 10 years I've been placed under some kind of guardianship, and even tho I worked and still now I have $1500 every month I only get $10/week + some meal tickets. They even took away my passport, my ID card, my credit card and I can't even pick another job or do anything alone anymore. My goal before was to live in Japan, I learned Japanese (still practicing it everyday) and went there 6 times before the guardianship thing, but now I spend my days doing nothing in my house, with no friend or family and people looking down on me because I have no money. However I really love your videos, even tho I basically gave up on life I will try a bit harder. We're the only ones who can change ourselves, but getting some directions from someone who succeeded can change everything. I hope one day we'll see each other on the top of society... That was me, but at least now when I am 30 years old I have really good income from my dropshipping business. "More money, more freedom" is also what I learned the hard way in life. In my experience, I've heard of the saying "money buys happiness," which has some truth to it, depends on the person, BUT while I was broke, I realized that "lack of money creates unhappiness" held more truth but not often said. It also supports the idea of "more money, more freedom."
Working in silence and being quiet is the path I walk. It can be very lonely, but some part of that loneliness seems to help remind me I'm on the right path. I have no social life but I am not worried about that right now.

I like this video, but I want to add important notes. To be successful in RU-vid content making, except effort you differently need something more: beauty face or outstanding skills in some popular area or be charismatic. Another thing is a language: if your potential audience is large enough you are lucky. Of course you can learn any language, but to become fluent enough you have to spend years. So, if your native language is not one of top 10 world's languages, you are in trouble. I know a lot of mature and successful RU-vidrs from my country, who already 5+ years in industry, but their income is about several thousand $ per month in best case. Don't judge me for laziness, I just want to say that not only effort and right strategy are keys to success. Obstacles really matters. Ruri you are talented, smart and hard working person. And at the same time your beauty and your origin really helps you. So, it's a bit naive or not sincere to make titles like this.

This is the best and most profound youtube channel hosted by millenial I've even found that everybody in any age should watch! I even share this to my teen kids. It is so rich in values that millenials need to learn if they wanna be successful.
My question is how the hell do I even get started. In my current position, nobody will hire me, and if I do work a very hard or physically demanding job I will not have time or energy after work to invest and make more.

Hi. I read your comment and we have similar thoughts. Luck is definitely a part of it but as she discussed in one of her past videos, she is using the power of unfair advantage. She has a lot of gifts and you can tell she knows how to use them wisely at such a young age. From an academic point of view, she is not qualified to "teach" people. She hasn't even earned a college degree yet nor teaching credits. Most of her contents (from the way they sound) are taken from books and online research. Capture all the wise words from experts/doctors/scientists who dedicated their lifetime to their field of study and that makes for a great RU-vid video script. Combine them with her natural good looks and charisma, the tools and means that she now has and you can expect a convincing RU-vid video. But we need to keep in mind that RU-vidrs and vloggers are not professors. They do not have the expertise and mastery to give courses and lectures. All they have is their life experience and their own personal method of doing things to share with the world. Still, they take action. And as you may already know, there's a multitude of people who are "less qualified" than you are but living the life that you want simply because they put in the effort and luck reached out to them.

While this might help, remember, the world NEEDS jobs that don't pay 6 figures, not everyone can be a youtuber, cause, in the end, youtubers, in most cases, give nothing but entertainment to people, and the world needs much more than entertainment to work, it needs janitors, doctors, engineers, lawyers, and a very big, etc. So, even if you follow this advices keep in mind that your chances of failing are extremely high, and the people out there making 6 figures without high education are not even 1% of total population. It's sad, I know, but it's better to have both feet on the ground and always have a plan b so, if you fail, you don't leave yourself in a even worse situation.

The way I am really starting to see things is that you have a choice. You can choose to settle for the average 9-5 and live the average life, say stuff like "I hate money! Money is evil!" ( Even though you spend most of your day at your day job working for it, sometimes up tp 10-12 hours a day). Or you can choose to be different, take a more risky route in life that has a far better potential outcome. The choice is yours.
