Agreed: Molecule help greatly with the citrusy scents. Also, Kiehl's original("love oil") enhances almost anything by increasing depth. Kiehl's make a shower gel which also assists. I've been collecting for 50 years now and find your videos delightful.Thanks.

I like the idea of layering, especially with versions offered in EDT and EDP concentrations. I hit my skin with the EDP and spray my shirt with the EDT. it doesnt work perfectly with all scents, but i find it works amazingly with D&G- The One, and Bleu de Chanel (Bleu de Chanel has Balm, Lotion, Shower Gel, and a Shaving set with shaving cream available for maximum effect)

I just made my own scented lotion by using an unscented hand and body lotion to put some of my Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver in it and people could smell me at work. It worked.

I recently started using unscented Curél lotion all over my body when I get out of the shower. I bought it to try to help extend the longevity of fragrances, but really I've been needing something like this for my skin anyways because I work outside. I bought some Aquaphor ointment also on recommendation, but haven't started using it yet for a fragrance base. I think the Aquaphor ointment would work very well, but it is greasy. This probably isn't for everyone, but I also started taking cold showers a couple months ago. There are a few health benefits, but not drying out your skin is one of them.

@@filipkalicinski2915 i spray molecule 01 first , then spray fragrance that i want to project longer (black orchid, ultra male, eros) and it really make difference. usually eros edt on me last 6hr max, when i combine it with molecule 01, it last 7+, i sprayed at around 8am and my coworker said i smell good at around 4.30pm, i think it make your frags project more

Ever since Derek from More Plates More Dates suggested applying some Vaseline before spraying the fragrance, I've found that definitely makes a bit of a difference. Doesn't add an odor, and really makes the fragrance pop. Get about 12 hours of noticeable projection with JV Artisan Pure with the old Vaseline trick.

@@-SimonRileyVaseline is petroleum jelly vs moisturiser what is not the same. Petroleum jelly can trap these molecules more effectively for longer on your skin. But it feels icky and sucks which is why I’ll never use Vaseline

I moisturize w/ non smelling baby oil or a very light Vaseline but at the same time they’re what I call perfume primers which makes it project longer. Of course this is all coming out of the shower. Then hit myself again about 15 minutes before out the door.

I just put lotion on dont matter if its scented just let it dry fully for about atleast 1hr then spray your fragrance close too the skin like 1-2" or closer until the fragrance is soaked on your skin and running about too drip off spray twice in each spot saturate your skin then dab it so it doesn't drip off your skin dont rub it in dab it.. this has helped me get way better projection, sillage and longevity.. you can also use lotion and or an oil or both just make sure you fully let them absorb and spray your fragrance on top after..

today i went to the perfume store to get some samples and i smelled dg the one and i absolutely love it but it doesnt last long and has little to no projection. i really want it for everyday use but i am looking for a long lasting and projective fragrance. does anyone know a fragrances that smells simular to this one and his good longetivity and projection? if so id be happy to hear it

Will molecule 01 also work with pure perfume oils? I stay in Dubai and we tend to use something called Attars which are perfumes oils and they do not project as much as a perfume would so will molecule 01 will help?

In my experience, Ford fragrances don't need help lasting. The problem might just be your nose getting used to the scent after hours.

You use 1 or 2, never both. Using both changes the smell. Iso E Super helps projection. Ambroxan helps longevity.

Hey Dallas, I own Molecule 01 and do detect the "pencil shaving smell" as some describe it to be quite prominently. When layering with it, do you ever find that it alters the smell of the other primary fragrance that you combined with it or does it just serve as a performance-boosting agent? I plan to layer it with La nuit de l'homme (2017 version). Thanks, Brother.

Hey there. It strongly depends on the fragrance you are layering with. For La nuit de l'homme I recommend using ambroxan instead. For me, Molecule 01 works perfectly with The One EDP, for example.

And it depends on where you spray too. Behind the neck, ears, inside the elbows and chest. Most scents are made for occasions. It's all about knowing your chemistry and the fragrance itself. I overspray alot because my work setting is vast and open (warehouse). Some fragrances you gotta overspray unfortunately. Companies does it on purpose, making weak fragrances then 2 flankers later come with a stronger yet decent version to make money. Offices I go lighter because of close proximity. Also, you can wear winter time fragrances in the summer BUT I highly recommend doing so AT NIGHT while it's cooler. Heat makes a depth type fragrance stuffy.

@@kennyharmon1836 Well some fragrances has a lighter and more fresher vibe to it to coexist with the heat more suitably. Winter fragrances have more depth, sweetness, and is stronger to pierce through the cold. Most light summer scents doesn't survive too long in the winter because of the density of the cold. It'll choke it out. Citrus, aquatic, fruity, marine, earthy, light sweet type scents work well in the summer and spring time. That woody, smoky, sweetness with heft to it can be cloying in high heat with makes the scent stuffy and sometimes stink.

Hi mate, i apply M01 first then wait about 5mn than spray the second frag on the same spots. For me it significantly improves the longevity of some "weaks" frags (Versace Pour Homme, Valentino Uomo Acqua...). Yeah it changes your original frag a bit, it gives it a more pronounced woody aspect and depth. When some people know M01 very well they can detect it when get some whiffs of it even when you layer it with some strong scents. Personally i use it for layering sometimes but i love to wear it on its own, this frag has no seasons no occasions no time of the day, it's the most versatile frag ever imo. If i had to leave all my frags and grab only one before run away it will be the one no discussion...

It can but if you are using it with something like LNDL or DG the One it messes up the scent. Those scents are not meant to have ambroxan.

Depends on diet also so either eat cleaner or drink more water. Don’t forget spraying on clothes will make it last longer and also you could go nose blind where you just can’t smell the scent on yourself. I suffer from that.
