In the midgame, focus on maintaining vision, on paths that lead to objectives and not the objectives themselves. Push midlane mainly and over the side that has the next objective available, (drake/herald/nash/tower). Since your only income are assists, be in every fight possible. Also do not sit idle and play your own game, late game is where most teams throw, so during this time aka after first bot tower is down, have a coach approach to the game and direct your team to play on the correct side and that they take the right fights, ping them a lot.
i think tip 3 is the secret gem of this video. But in this scenario sadly not very viable in soloq because when you act like you dive, your adc might think you really want to so he makes a mistake and dies for it, but in many other scenarios it will probably be good for me to think about it.
One thing I do if my ADC isn’t in lane and they’re trying to dive me is play near river and act like jungle is there for a gank, I try to make it “super obvious” that I’m baiting, but in reality nobody is there and they play a lot safer until my ADC gets back
Rell IS broken in high elo. Just because your elo doesn't knows how to play Rell doesn't means she is bad. Everytime I see a IKeepItTaco or Yamikazexz stream I see someone ban Rell.
This was a great video! Thank you for the tips and please release more support guides. Can you do a video about how enchanters can best play the map and lane into melee/tank supports? I feel like the interactions are different from this tank vs tank match up. Can I have the same impact as an enchanter in supporting my midlaner, etc?
Great video about advanced support mechanics! Really love your content. Helps a lot to myself + I can send those videos to my friends and chill with all the explanitions ;D
i look at mid, i see enemies there. but i need several seconds till i can understand what i'm seeing, how many, and who is there. in order to make a decision. doing anything while this is happening, in my case, would result in missing out on many other things, possibly. idk. multitasking isn't my Forte. but cool vid.
Autoattack the first 2 melee minions twice so the enemy minions wave dies before yours, but doesn't push into their tower at the second wave. This will give you lvl2 earlier than the enemy
Good guides, but my games frequently go like this: me in botlane camped bu enemy jungleer and unable to do anything, or just a mid laner who is afk farming and i wasted my time roaming mid
So, I'm a masters support. I absolutely hate when my ADC plays terribly and dies/has to recall very early, due to me having to catch XP (Especially if they crash the 4th wave, which means if I maintain tempo with enemy support I'm level 2 while they're level 3, OR I "overstay" for the XP at tower, and they get tempo on me.) It's a loss loss for me, and I'm getting punished/behind because of my ADCs mistake. I know that whenever you are behind tempo, something else on the map must be given up, so when should I stay for XP vs. match tempo? Maybe when I'm playing a champion who can counter roam even level 2 or against a champ who has a very strong gank potential such as Thresh or Leona I NEED to counter even if I'm slightly behind in XP. Anybody have any advice?
the worry about getting lv2 ganked by enemy jungler. the would never die again lv2 enemy jungle BUT it is hecarim so any level 2 dives got sth like 98.74% successrate just because its hecarim
I'm hard stuck gold 1 - plat 4 since season 8 and everything that is listed above, i do. But i still have no impact on the game... My adc ends up throwing by itself or my mid get destroyed. Whatever i do, it doesn't work and it just feels like in low elo, the game doesn't work like that, if you don't stay with your adc 24/24 he gets dive by 3 angry ppl and your mid will mostly be a farming bot until he can't do anything but group. I can put vision everywhere, ppl don't watch their minimap, i can roam, my mates won't follow an engage and maybe ping me "?". And i'll end up beeing behind in xp, gold, and utility. Support is the hardest role because even if you do everything perfectly, you RELY on your mates, that's why it feels like beeing a slave to the team, after all, you're support and because of that xp nerf and little gold to use, you can't carry the game.
The problem is map awareness and decision making for ALL players of a team. You need to play very well every minute of the game, but that won't win a game as your teammates might do mistakes later on the game. Another problem is that most of the time your team doesn't understand how to play the game according to their team composition and it will lead to throwing games even if you had a good start.
One video, follow your instincts and don’t sit in lane with adc doing nothing when you can roam and get vision and/or gank. Another video, you shouldn’t follow your instincts to do what was just said.
It's all about different scenarios . You should think before sitting idly in bot or roaming. The bell that rings telling you you should be doing something, now THAT is an instinct baby
If you have an advantage, like the lvl 2 advantage, test your opponent to see if they know and respect your advantage. Another example would be repeat ganking after a successful killI. If they don't respect the play then punish them.
