This is huge. If I had the right mindset in HS, I would’ve been a 4xer instead of a 2xer. This is so pivotal at that age and not taught enough or in the right way. I honestly believe that 80% of HS matches are won before they get on the mat. Not just because of all the work one has or hasn’t done, but because you have to believe you can win. I went into matches thinking the guy was better than me because he looked bigger or had a better record. It’s nonsense and in the 2000s HS wrestlers never went into college tournaments a won. Sure there are exceptions to but these HS kids now are incredible. They believe they can win and they’re doing it. Thanks again for another gem Ben. 🙏🏼
