Same here Rap. I’ve been contemplating to buy an iPad Pro which has more advanced features than a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+. I realized I only have one iPhone 12 Pro Max used for videos and photos in the Apple Ecosystem compare to my existing Hp Omen Windows-based laptop and a Samsung Galaxy Phone. The relationship between Samsung and Microsoft are getting better these days. By the way, I also subscribed to their Microsoft 365 Family Plan because my family uses MS Office Apps plus One Drive storage per account. I used Microsoft One Note heavily across platforms and it served me well for my productivity. The downside to my full-pledge desktop experience of my hp omen laptop is the battery capacity. It limited my productivity in places where there are no sockets to plug in to. As an Architect by profession, I constantly have these ideas in mind that I have to jot down and sketch to, do some design drawings while monitoring my stock investments and some little analysis. This leads me to get the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 (not the S7+ which is priced higher) to bridge the gap between my mobile and my laptop. With the price that is half of an iPad Pro excluding the apple accessories, I already get an s-pen which I don’t need to separately buy it. With apps that are cross-platform compatible between android and windows for less a price, I think this is gonna be a better decision to improve productivity.
I think pwede pa i elaborate and expand yung discipline part to budgeting at pag track ng expenses. First job ko in my early 20s, I realized wala ako naiipon so I tracked all my expenses sa Excel and dun ko napansin yung spending habits ko and na align ko sya with my goals, not just financial pero other stuff like fitness, leisure, etc. Now, I am able to save at least 40% of my salary for emergency funds and investments. Laki ng difference pag aware ka sa spending habits mo, kitang kita mga luho and unnecessary expenses.
yung nanay ko naman, pinag iisipan ng katakut takot kung kelan mga convert ng Dollar to Peso, eh buti sana kung 1000000 dollars, eh hinde naman...so just convert it when you need it.
At age 14 pwede ka na mag-open ng investment account with your parents' help. Meron process sa COL Financial that allows minors to open an investment account. Just visit their website for more info about the requirements :D Good job on thinking about investments at a very young age. Keep it up :)
