Tappers are so good My main base is powered by a setup I designed that uses eight medium generators, one medium storage silo A portable furnaces, one auto arm, and two tappers on two honeypot plants. All on 1 medium platform B. They provide 68-72 watts of power at any given time. So far I only have two of them, and they power my entire base (which includes a pretty large recourse train.) Also, my entire base is dug under a gateway chamber, which is working great so far
if you use large platform B you can have a generator on the furnace platform and safe an auto arm, also a few tappers can make more then enough to keep things fill, also one auto arm and furnace takes 6 power, so the generaters 9 is more then enough to be power self safiscent its also cheep and easy to set up mid game for getting to planets if you just want to get a gass or something/have a starter power thing thats expandable as needded (more tappers and generaters or making another one all together)
