Here are the 5 things: Shampoo, deep condition weekly, moisturize regularly, trim hair on schedule and leave your hair alone and let it do its work. You're welcome
I had a huge bald spot because of a weave, scalp massages with a mixture of olive oil and castor oil helped a lot. A year and some months later I have 5 inches of hair where that bald spot was. Great tips.
“The more you trim your hair, the more your hair grows” is not true. Trimming has 0 effect on hair growth. Trimming can, however, help you to retain length because it gets rid of unhealthy ends that would have contributed to breakage.
I'm so sorry to read this, I hope your anxiety is a bit better now or you have found another way to channel it, all the best with growing your hair back x
Thanks a lot for sharing❣️am struggling a lot with my hair lost for years and I just away under wigs. For a month now I decided to see what the problem is.ladies like you help us a lot to gain hope.
I have a bald spot and recently I’ve been so incredibly insecure about it. I’m always getting looks idk if it’s bc of my bald spot but i feel so insecure. I’m pretty sure my bald spot came from stress, and hair pulling. I put my hair in a low TIGHT ponytail every day for years, which caused hair loss. Hopefully once I try this, and it works
hey hun, I'm so sorry to hear it's not the best feeling when you get a bald spot so completely understand, I hope this doesn't work and if not be sure to seek professional help too 💞
At least it’s in the middle my bald spot is on my edges 😒 I’m sooo limited to styles it’s annoying I got it from wearing a puff too . It’s been since 2012 yea I doubt it’s coming back smh
Chuma Soko im using Jamaican mango and lime but I don’t think it’s the right one . I used to use the tropic isle which I was seeing results . I’m def not putting anymore braids in my hair , it’s not THAT bad it could be worse but it’s still there . Soon I’m going to go to the dermatologist to see what they can do
Hey...i have those bald spots also. In the exact same spots. Dermotologist told me it was ccca alopecia that turned into scarring alopecia. She told ne that my haur would never grow back. Recently starting using an oil i get from a lady on you tube and my hair is growing back after 5 years of being bald!!! I also take biotin capsules 5,000 mg once a day and pumpkin seed oil capsule1,000 mg twice a day, scalp massages twice a week. And also trimming my hair and washing and deep conditioning weekly. Its really working. It takes about 3 weeks to see some hair fuzz but its working!!
I recently discovered a small bald patch near my edges . My edges are quite fragile and during this quarantine, I was also studying for my finals . So I think that contributed and I would wear my hair in cornrows but change it every week, My hair is very long. But I think maybe it was the fact that I kept changing my cornrows . I usually wear my hair in braids but , I’m just going to oil the patch everyday and wear my hair in loose single plaits for now (no extension). Thank you for the advice
Wow! That's crazy I would of freaked out if I had bold spots. Thank you for sharing as I'm sure there's a lot of women freaking out. It's so weird that we take our hair for granted and the minute there's s problem we pay attention. Moral of the story - appreciate and love your hair even if it's not perfect but not as it's healthy 👌🏽
Trish Chanda you do freak out at first! Trust me I was vomiting, stopped eating and sleeping. I became a wreck! But eventually you have to deal with it
I was recently diagnosed by my dr with traction alopecia it was recommended by my dr to try rogaine for 1 year I’m glad I ran across your video I’m going to try your tips because I hear you have to use rogaine for the rest of your life
Gd video Chums to help others who may need useful tips for their bald spots...... I have 13 yrs of locs an my hair was breakin like crazy for a few yrs I tried lot of things but nothing was really working then I discovered that ANY GD natural oil for hair growth WILL WORK WELL if U massage yr scalp really well, patting the scalp and low manipulation These 3 techniques encourage and wake up the follicles giving it the best chance to grow strong and healthy That,s why JBCO works for a lot of ppl it,s got natural ingredients an U have to massage it into the scalp Really happy that yr hair is thriving nw ................
thank you so much for watching and sharing your very useful tip Johannah essential oils do make all the difference, glad your locs are back to health too. 🤗
Thanks for these tips girl!! I've been trying to deep condition my hair every wash day too because it's soo dry & coarse😩... think I need to take a better look at the ingredients in my shampoo because I'm just using whatever is in the house🙈 any brands that you'd recommend?💕
hey hun, thanks for watching. I'd say look out for shampoos with sulphates or paraben, these ingredients tend to dry out the hair, which makes it more prone to breakage. find more natural moisturising based products and you'll be on the right track!!! some of my favs are creme of nature, taliah waajid and grohealthy 🤗
I am going to get the steam cap, my hair came out the same way but my hair is so thick only I know, I have been putting glycerin in those spots and massaging it and putting my head upside down so blood can go to my head. U give me hope. Thanks
why these people talk so much and in the end they don't tell you a single thing ,I am still waiting on her to tell me what she is using then the video runs out .
Millie, if listening is an issue I have also highlighted what I've been doing in the description box if you fancy a read instead. Thanks for watching! 😘
bruh this really pissing me off i’ve tried castor oil, coconut oil, tea tree oil, caffeine, biotin shampoos, keratin shampoos and I still have a bald spot on my crown and my edges are fucked
@@bellathedog-fu8ny Ok your frustration is understandable. Do you know what your hair and scalp like? That's always a helpful place to start. Me personally I know my hair really likes steam, glycerin, and niacinamide( just found out about that one).☺
Don't give up.☺ Check out Debbie Williams channel and try the rice water along or rice water with onion juice. She has a coffee treatment for hair too. Also, she talks about having a healthy diet. Greenbeauty is another you tuber that has a rice water treatment with onion, garlic, and cayenne pepper.
Okay. So the hair on my parental ridge has never grown in length compared to the sides and top. I have done so many hair styles whilst using relaxer and even even When I went natural 6 years ago but it always stays the same length. If it grows, it breaks off. It never bothers me much because the length there was still ok to give me a normal head shape. December last year I cut my hair, bleached and got a bomb red wine colour. No changes in that area, hair was still same length there. To also mention, I had birth control pills for 4 months to control a heavy flow I had (gyno's recommendation). But as time went on I started noticing a thining and my hair line going in and it tingles when I touch both spots. I have ignored it for a while as I didn't want to start being stressed again.(I have anxiety issues). I have finally accepted that I'm balding for probably various reasons and will see my doctor in 2 weeks to get an analysis. It took a second cut to actually see how bad it's getting. I literally have a shape V line from top. I hope my hair grows back even if it takes a year.
oh my goodness, I'm so sorry to hear about whats happening with your hair, you'll most def want to follow up with your doctor cause it has been affecting you for a long while, I hope this improves for you and that you're able to get the help you need to grow your hair. please do keep in touch, it'll be nice to know your progress.
My daughter is natural and yesterday her hair was in a puff ball at the back of her head. She brushed the whole right back side off, I was horrified! Never seen it happen before, it has been 2 months since I've braided the back and I never use weave on her.. I just don't understand!!😭😭😭😤😤 I worked so hard on my baby's hair and this is a major setback
Hi Victoria, thanks for watching, I haven't come across the Kerasoft products so can't comment, but I'd suggest reading up on some reviews online and most importantly check the ingredients to see what goes in the products, that's always an indicator of whether it'll be safe to use for your hair. 😊
Can you give us a review of The H&B shampoo and intensive treatment that you used a few months ago? You didnt mention it in this video and I would like to know how it added to your hairs progress..or maybe it didnt?? I'd be really interested to know...
hey Thai, thanks for watching, I'll be sure to give a review of the H&B shampoo and intensive treatment, sorry I completely missed it in this video. I think it definitely helped to the progress of my hair. the treatment didn't last long but still use the shampoo so I'd recommend getting just the shampoo, but I'll do a quick video for your when I get back 😊
Good tips! But, did the products that you used in the first video, for your alopecia, worked for the 30days? Or did you change products during the process and/or after the 30days? Did you see progress after 30days or more?
Hi Kristena, thanks for watching. I used the shampoo for more than 30 days however the conditioner/mask didn't last too long as you can imagine and I didn't buy a new tub. I found that the products were great to help with my alopecia at the time and have used the shampoo every so often on a wash day. I hope that helps 😊
Hi, great vid 🙌🏾. You talk about leaving your hair alone and not to comb it especially through the bold spot. But as a man growing an Afro who works in an office, I need to comb my hair 😂. Could you suggest a protective style or daily routine where I won’t have to comb my hair everyday please? Thank you.
Hey Daniel thanks for watching, I'm not very familiar with Men's protective styles however I recommend checking out @wolfganglisborg on instagram, he has amazing styles that I'm sure you would be able to consider, for example the high or low bun look and four braids down depending on your hair length. Let me know how you get on and I can find some other Men's pages for you to check out 🤗
I wouldn't simply because of the tension created from braids. I do know box braids are bigger and so less stress on the hair but in the first instance I would just let the hair breathe for a bit and allow for daily stimulation on the bald spots. I hope that helps.
St. Sade it’s ok. I understand we run on sometimes. Your progress is great. I’m having a patch issue so I was trying to hear some quick tips because I’m watching so many videos already.
SMH this is too much talk I’m kind of breathing for you 🤣 and the tips are too obvious would be a waste of time to subscribe. Sorry for your bold patches
I'd say find an organic natural shampoo that contain tea tree, peppermint or hemp oil, as a base, these are ingredients that aid hair growth along side the usual ingredients we see in natural hair products. Just ensure they have less chemicals that would potentially cause more harm.
Chuma Soko hair doesn’t grow faster while protective styling. You may retain more length because you aren’t experiencing as much breakage but the rate of hair growth doesn’t change.
hey Mikassi, can you recall what style you had in your hair before you discovered the bald spot? it may be caused by pulling or possibly stress related.
thanks for watching, in this context I am referring to traction alopecia (caused primarily by a pulling force being applied to the hair.) I didn't band my high puffs correctly and that's how I got the bald spots. Alopecia areata is believed to be an autoimmune disease, which could be due to genetics or stress related. This isn't my case here. I hope this helps 😊
Hey Chichi congratulations on going natural, I'd need to understand your hair routine and the products you've been using, what I can say is that deep conditioning has honestly changed my hair life, so if that isn't already part of your routine try it and see if it makes a difference. 💞
Can anyone please help me! My hair started falling out a few months ago so i decided to cut the back where it was falling out. Now it was fine and it wasn't falling out till bout a month ago and it's more towards the top. Anyway or items i can use to grow it back? It would help alot
Hey Aryanna, sorry to hear about your hair. I'd say take a look at the cause before finding a remedy in this case as you may find that it reoccurs, could it be stress related, a change in diet or routine? a number of things cause hair loss. To help with hair growth check out this video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I3GEbompka0.html) that helped me grow back my bald spots too, but I do recommend seeing a professional if it becomes serious. 💞
