Everyone has their own way of being productive, for me having something visually attractive helps me to be able to use it more. If it attracts me to use it and is fun and enjoyable for me to use, the more I will use it and therefore will help me be more productive because I’m using my system.

You are wrong in my opinion. In my experience, a decent part of your productivity depends on how your workspace looks like. I used task managers like Acana or Todoist, which were more functional than the Leadertask that I'm using now, but at the same time, a trite more user-friendly interface personally for my taste provided me with greater efficiency. It's not just cute, it's a banal adjustment of your tools to your eye. Working with such software is easier and simpler. It moves faster from the category of "damn it, you need to mark it" to automatic use without a second thought.

You can add multiple sub-calendars with different colors for each, or you can change specific events within a calendar with its own color. To do this just click on the event to open up its details and you should see next to which calendar it is on, a circle with a color (select event color). Just click on that to change the event's color.

The planner is a hyperlinked pdf that you can import into a pdf annotation app such as goodnotes or Noteshelf.

You can change the widget by touching and holding a widget to open the quick actions menu. Then tapping Edit Widget. If you’re talking about the style of it, I used an app called widgetsmith

Goodnotes is just a pdf annotation app. You can import digital planners and other PDFs into it. The one I’m using is from my shop here: shop.wendaful.com
