Totally agree! Loved the comment about needing a second house to store games like this. Truth. I’m tired of all the giant minis in games. I predict a counter revolution where we all go back to small box standee versions once the rest of the gamers figure out we don’t have shelf space for all this plastic.

And many many games are bought by us. It’s my call that we don’t talk about price because it varies wildly and what’s expensive for one person isn’t for another. It muddies the waters

@@thedicetower the dice tower business is built on subjectivity… Id also argue comparing prices within an industry removes subjectivity (like comparing cereal prices). That said, it’s the channels prerogative, but I love when reviewers such as Joey here comment on it!

Sure, it was expressed in the campaign. As a reviewer, though, we are telling you, the possible buyer, what downsides the game has. And a humongous box is a downside for many people.

@@thedicetower downside sure. But to effect a rating about gameplay, that's silly. The game is marketed and sold as a large miniature game. And the base game gives a lot of content. And a lot of bosses. That will require a lot of room to store. Again, I understand letting people know it's a big box, and the price is high, but that should not effect a score about specifically gameplay/rulebook/production quality. IMO that's all that should affect a score, everything else should just be buyer beware.

If it's gameplay that's important in the rating, cost should entirely affect the score when the game could be a tenth of the size/cost but deliver the same decisions and play experience.

@@Stomski if that was the case, KS games would be 5 out of 10 on average as they are all mostly over produced. It is not up to you as the consumer to dictate the scope and vision of a creator/developer. You vote with your wallet ahead of purchase, not purchase then complain you paid too much. YouR thinking is backwards and limiting to creative expression. The hobby is largely luxury items. And the price and scope was advertised ahead of time. If you purchased knowing this, then complain you got what you paid for, that's a you problem, not a problem with the game's mechanics/rulebook/fun factor/ect..
