In Germany prison escape is not a crime. It is seen as understandable that inmates try to get out of there. And it is seen as the prisons fault to let them escape.

Wondering how he was able to dig that, considering the guards never checked his cell, or perhaps he may have been in that cell before, he could not have possibly have had friends to help, or maybe it was, he escaped multiple times, he may have his ways to escaping every damn time...
that jail worker did not forget to lock both doors. It was obvious he closed them slowly so that they would not close and lock. Probably an accomplice, otherwise why would you not be sure the door is secured?
Escape number two HAD to have been intentionally set up by the guard. The video narrator says she (the inmate) saw 'what happened' (guard wasn't closing the doors until locked) and 'took advantage of the opportunity to escape. How could she have seen him leave the door, not in her line of sight, open? And, notice, he had to slowly allow the doors to stop in such a way as to still appear looked.
in germany its not forbidden to run from prison. if the securitys dont close the doors and give you this opportunity, you wont be charged. its not forbidden to escape without damaging or hurting someone. if you damage some thing you will only get sentenced for the damage, not for escaping. its just human to want to get out of it, thats what prisons are made for. inmates spend their hole day to find a way out. if you make it so easy, you cant blame it on the inmate. much better then this US logic...
