Get both games.... there was a time when we had 4 different nba games to choose from now everyone acts like there can only be one. I don’t want to live in a gaming world with 1 nba game one shooter one adventure one fighting. We need options that are not tied to micro transactions.
I heard him say something about game play and animations. Bruh keep it real 2K uses MO Cap from real people. They bring people in to motion capture movements and put em in the game. EA hasn't done this in years they do computer generated animation with Madden, Live, and NHL, I think EA only puts effort into FIFA cause it's there smoothest sports game. That's why the dunks and shit look unnatural on Live. It's 2018 and Live even tho it is a decent game still has outdated ball mechanics.

I played the Demo. The dribbling is their best asset. Layups are great but the ball physics is still wack. I think Live has more potential for competitive gaming than 2k.
Lucas Congdon. Can’t really customize anything. 2k has custom draft classes, you can set up how hard each player works in practice, trade frequencies etc. The cpu didn’t trade with the cpu or have injuries during my Live Franchise. It was pretty boring.

I don't even care about cut scenes or custom animation, shoes, or clothes. Don't care what my guy really looks like. Don't care about throwback teams. I saw a lot of trash game play in 2k too. I don't think it's always realistic like everyone thinks. Don't like walking around their park. Don't like waiting for a game in the park. I just want to play the damn game. Don't like the grind you have to do everyday for a year just to get a good team in myteam. Don't like the grind you have to do in career to make your player good. I'm buying Live this year. The demo was pretty good and I think The One will be fun this year building your team. I think it's going to go pretty deep. I like that they have online challenges everyday too and you can unlock all sorts of things. I hope Ultimate Team gets a little better than last year. I liked it a lot last year, but it could be a little improved. I liked all the challenges they had for it last year. I hardly even played online because I was always doing those and trying to unlock better players.
THANK YOU!!!!! I can admit Live has put in a lot of work. It is fun and even more user orientated than 2K. But it still doesn't feel good like 2k. People say 2k has been the same game for years. Truth is 2K is built on such a quality foundation that at this point they are only tweaking the game based on our complaints. Live on the other hand hasn't captured that buttery smooth feeling since Live 10( which was basically 2K wrapped in an EA product)
But lives has 10 new real life courts, and is now using rpm, have u seen those screen shots? They look more realistic then the actual irl player, and there is no vc, and finally live is funner, what other game lets u max to 98 in 24hr#live 19 g.o.y# in my fanboy voice

Thankfully VC is not needed for franchise or head-to-head matchups. For MyPlayer/MyCareer/MyPark dudes that want to keep up with the Joneses I can see how the VC thing can be an issue, but has never been for me because I couldn't care less about those game modes. Just give me the classic gaming experience with nice visuals and fun gameplay.

The real reason 2k is more fluid is because they have alot of animation they force you to be in nba live kind of gives you more control over your player for instance live has a contact system If you jump into someone it's a foul by but in 2k if you jump in to someone nothing happens unless an animation is triggered also the celebration animation you will be stuck in one of those on 2k and not able to get back on defense

Yeah, it's undeniable that 2k has the better gameplay, the personalization, the better single player modes, all that shit. But it's all ruined because of other things. The trash culture the community created, its literally GTA online tier bad. You can't play any mode in the game without seeing something about VC, every mode except play now is pay to win. And their park modes always, always take forever to find games, why not implement a simple matchmaking system like NBA live? Just the simple addition of female characters to the game is huge, 2k literally ignored a whole demographic for years, it's not just guys that play videogames anymore.
There giving u the real life feel to. Run the court. Do u play bball irl. Where u win 20 str8 games and ppl have to wait to play u. That shyt sweet. And after ranking up that vc u could walk to footlocker and buy a tennis.
The addition of female characters isn't big at all if they don't do anything with it. It's happened before in FIFA, women were introduced in FIFA 16 and nobody cared for a ton of reasons and people still don't care because they've done nothing with it. Girls don't even care that you can play as girls in FIFA.
I don't really even need the classic rosters, I just wish Live could do a better job keeping the current rosters up to date. It's hard to get into the immersion when you have injured players in the starting lineups everywhere and it takes 2 weeks or more for trade updates, etc. I'm really tired of 2k after all these years, but they do a great job with the roster updates.
My initial thought is I may purchase NBA 2K first and wait til Live is free with EA Access but depending on the demos I may purchase both at the same day but install 2k first
I love 2K but NBA Live is way funnier and less serious and we're talking about fun overall and not having to pay for stuff like I already bought the game and you're making me pay for a haircut that I can't even preview shake my head 2K is too money hungry to see how to make a good game NBA Live 19 is where I'm going to with my money.
Being a myleague player there's absolutely no reason to get Live 19. Though I got anyway for the "not myleague stuff" If you love playing park etc,get Live,if not ,2k is superior. 1 NBA experience 2 player lock 3 control all teams. (Last two not possible on live) I don't regret buying ($10) but I haven't gone past 3 games on franchise yet. I have 4 seasons on myleague.

I been a nba live fan since 06.but i just was playing live 19 I'm done with this game.i tried 2k but i can't score on rookie.miss layup that should have been maded.i want to make the jump over to 2k but i just can't catch on how to play it.
If my career is the only problem and vc? I don't care about that I want to buy the game because of classic team /players, improved created player (I can now create a Rasheed Wallace etc) lookalike but still solid. When it comes to gameplay defensive settings and sliders is the key to enjoy the game. Jumpshot is flawless still better than live19 stiff jumpshot. I don't care about my career, vc and online I'm not into it anyway. But that's just me. But if your into your own player of course live19 is the better choice.

I installed a mod for 2K18 and Lebron was shaped like Khalil Mack and had bald spots/cuts in the back of his head. CP3s cyberface was clutch last year considering 2k had him looking 17 yrs old. But bearded CP3 cyberface mod was the best last year. It looked out of place realistic.

I agree with both videos that you made but me personally I'm gonna make that switch over to live I'll have both games. But it'll take a lot for me to play 2K this and moving forward bc to me their not as focused on gameplay as they should be. The same came be said about live but Im ready to fully dive into live this year. Lucky me I don't start school to the 5th on next month gotta like college life.
