If live ever gets their gameplay down pact, 2k is in SERIOUS trouble. Live is killing it with the presentation. Its a very visually appealing game. They just go that extra mile, to bring you closer to you and your player. They have more haircuts, the clothes looking better, the in game graphics look better. Shit they have REAL PARKS you can actually play at, not some stupid generic ass neighborhood. With the Frostbite and Ignite Engines coming to Live 19 next year (the same engines games like Battlefield 1 and Madden/Fifa 18 run on) thats just one more thing live is doing better than 2k, one MAJOR thing. Live 18 is significantly better than Live 14, which goes to show how they dedicate time to improve their project. 2k doesnt go out of their way to improve anything in the game year after the year. They just pointlessly change something that was working perfectly fine. Went from playing for XP to playing for attributes, right as they got the rep/park system working decently. Think I'd play COD if i couldnt level up? Only reason they dug in their bag this year with this new so called "Motion Engine" is because they know that Live is right around the corner on they ass. And i dont mean a black mans "im around the corner, be there in 2 seconds" i mean that Ezio from Assassins Creed "Muhfucka i been tracking you the whole time, I'm coming for that ass..." Live will soon be resurrected, and the 2k dynasty will come to a close...
Ignacio Cruz yes for Arcade-gamer like you, but in 2k Offense can do what it want, it has no Defensive-System!!!! live has!!!!! in live when people see you can play Defense they get scare and pass the Ball.....
One thing that 2K definitely does better than Live is max your MyPlayer out to 99 quicker. With just two easy payments of $19.99, and then one more payment of $9.99 will get you a haircut and some cool sneakers. And you'll have a BLAST with all that if they don't decide to just randomly delete your MyPlayer because they feel like it 🤗👍
Ezekiel Elliott Oh damn, last year you could get to like I think 95 with around 100,000 VC. And then you just had to do online stuff to get the few rest of the points, I assumed that much VC would be asking more than enough in this years 2K. I wouldn't know the exact specifics though, I skipped this and went with Live this year.
I actually like Live 18 (I am a 2k Fan).... they both got they upsides and downfalls... customization is a little slack in Live but it makes up for it with presentation and your player looks like he belongs in the game.... 2k yes has a lot of customization but it makes your player stand out and look like he is a created character just to give a few examples.... Live’s only issue is motion fluidity on almost all animations and that’s the only reason I didn’t buy it this year.... But Live has a lot of great things like how players do dribble animations when walking the ball up court like the real nba players do... they have a great formula going that I feel promotes a more serious and realistic feel.. while 2k still has that cartoonish arcade feel!!! 2k has been underachieving for years and only reason people been buying it is to please that basketball itch!!! Only thing that saved 2k is the my neighborhood and I feel like my neighborhood marked the death of 2k.... why? Because there is nothing else 2k can do to keep us coming back especially with Live back... now if Live adapts the my neighborhood to go with the REAL parks it will definitely be over for 2k!!!!!
Legato exactly. but 2k17 was even more unrealistic. and the sad truth is that people like unrealistic. i don't get how. 2k made the dribbling and everything else harder this year so it could be realistic and then people complain. tf
I like how minimal customization is in live because you buy the game to play basketball, not simulate a model, plus there is almost too much customization and its kinda overwhelming
I’ve only watched two videos by this man but he’s an actual good Live and 2k RU-vidr cause he doesn’t sound biased towards either one he just states the facts of what he sees between the two which is a proper way to do it he deserves more subs
I think the reason why the ball slowed down that much was because there was a lot of backspin on the ball (in that particular clip you showed, if you look closely, the ball is spinning quite a bit). I'd argue that this shows that the physics is MORE realistic. However, whether or not there should've been that much backspin in the first place is a different topic.

2k also uses preset faces dude. And the cutscenes/story is so annoying specially in my gm. Nigga want to trade for mo speits and ruined my freaking roster. Other than that list is all good
Really it comes down to what you like in a basketball game. I have my bought a basketball game in years but I like my game to be close as real as you can get. 2k beats Live in customization and graphics hands down. If Live could get better graphics and get there customization of players where you can customize just about anything on your guy then they would win.
1:14 fifas is decent and mlb the show destroys everyone in terms of editing the face you can throw in wwe if you want to i heard that their customization is amazing
The vid is nice but what about cheesed layups. I play it and it's like my hand is allergic to the ball cause not even my teammates can block the ball once
NBA Live is actually decent if you really take time to play it you'll begin yo enjoy it and the defense is by far better than 2k.The game needs more improvements and polish but they are on the right track. The street in live also looks a lot better then my park in 2K tour created player looks very realistic.
I personally dont mind the vc, I never buy it and I like the huge grind for literally everything... I can see why no one wants to spend 8 months grinding though
Side note. The hair color option in live is clearly on the left side of the screen while in the create a player. Admittedly the facial pre sets are lame. But live has a free app that lets you scan your face onto you player. Doesn’t get more accurate than that
You contradicted yourself at the player updates on the Live video you say it's a plus that they update the players but on this video you say oh you have to wait for Live to put a sleeve on Lonzo lol but good video
No he had a point in that you can't change their haircuts to look the way they should as Live does automatically. Sure you can change clothes but that's not the same thing.
Umm hold up right there NBA Live 16 u could get accessories u have to go to the crates and then when u find a word says accessory crate so my boy u did one thing wrong my boy and u could change ur jump shot and u have to go to skills
