Making videos that focus on how to grow muscle with a HEAVY emphasis on reducing injury risk, increasing mobility, reducing joint pain and generally more safety is why your videos are amazing. I'm trying to get jacked, but like most people, not at ANY cost. Safety and injury reduction is #1.

Great information,! My legs have been stuck for years, decades, and this style of training has started to grow my legs. I did lower total systemic fatigue too by focusing on legs and lessening upper body training.

Started doing the leg press stretch at the bottom & TuT, about 2 months ago. It certainly freed up my lower back tightness. Leg size. Much better pump than before & gained almost half an inch in my legs. It’s slow going at 49 🤬😂 Keep them coming mate

That Arsenal leg press allows you to go super deep, most leg presses don't allow for a ROM that matches it.

Can't go as deep on the leg press as you do but when I do them I go as deep as I possibly can. I don't see anyone else doing that. They load it up with a lot of weight and don't go near as deep

So if say you did a 40 seconds set. That’s actually pretty long. Do you think you would get the same results from doing 4 reps 10 seconds a rep or more reps less time per rep like say 8 reps at 5 seconds a rep? I know some people on here will say 40 seconds is nothing but I can almost guarantee that most people do more like 15-25 seconds. Great series! This one is and the exercise ranking series are awesome. Thank you!
@itsallgoodman940
@itsallgoodman940 10 дней назад
Reps definitely matter 8 is better than 4. 40 seconds is not that long, maybe more than average though. 40 sec = 10 X 2 X 2. That seems like it would be normal a 60 sec at 10 X 2 X 4 seems a little long and anything more would be 99% above all gymgoers. 15 sec set at 8 reps would be a 1-1 tempo I have seen a lot of people do this and don't know why they have such a fast pace.
@jasonellis9777
@jasonellis9777 9 дней назад
@@itsallgoodman940 I was doing calve raises on this slanted calf raise machine and it has a clock on it that counts reps and seconds. I have been sitting in the stretch position of the movement with heavier weight then I can move for more then a couple reps and I can only get to about 45 seconds before it starts burning. So I stated watching people sets of different movements and you’d be surprised how short some peoples sets are when they are tossing weight and not doing a slower eccentric movement. They can be pretty fast, lol.

Lean back for extension to increase stretch on your quads. And lean forward for seated leg curls to increase (again) stretch on your hams
