@@putster47 I define ‚radical’ honesty as unshakeable confidence in your words and opinions - in any situation you can express your points of view without white lies and without fear of rejection. Accountability is sth different, it is the ability to always take full responsibility for your own actions. Whatever you do, own it and don‘t blame others.

Valuetainment did a video on 10 reasons to never give up. One of them is the breakthrough is literally around the corner. I almost gave up a few years ago after 4 years of testing and development on making something. I tried a few more things and one month later was that breakthrough. What separates the successful from those that "fail" is that one didn't give up, and one DID give up. Giving up and failing aren't the same thing. Failure is inevitable, giving up is a choice you make.

Just take note of the types of seduction that you already naturally do just by being yourself, then hone in on the types of “targets” who are prone to fall for that form of seduction. You’ll succeed just by being yourself and not have to apply much of anything. For me, someone who wants novelty and has a sense of adventure but has always been a bit hesitant to go do those things alone or has felt restrained for one reason or another, naturally finds me interesting. I love to introduce mildly timid people to things completely new to them that I’ve already done on my own for years. By contrast, somebody who needs grand gestures, poetry or evidence of my willingness to ‘sacrifice everything’ to be with them, is not going to find me alluring at all. That’s just not who I am.

I love what you are saying regarding picking up moods and emotions. I have recently had a dating experience where the other person only seems to want to discuss uncomfortable, but what I think are important, topics in text messages. I can tell he cares, but he is keeping himself safe at a distance, or he is angry and wanting to punish in a way by keeping me at arms length (we rarely have conflict but this happens on the occasion when we do). What Robert is saying emphasizes why communicating in person is so important. It is all the non verbal information that we need to get an accurate picture. "...in a zen way, just absorb yourself in their words, in their energy, and think about what they are saying...what's the subtext behind them...what's the body language revealing....what is it that motivates them....what is their inner lives like?....get inside your moods and emotions....us humans are very susceptible to the moods of other people....we can feel them....if I am open enough, I can understand the tone in your voice. I can understand the subtext of what you are saying and I can pick up the emotion behind it and what you are intending....and once I do that.....once someone says something...I don't have to take it personally...because now I understand that it comes from other things that probably have nothing to do with me...." Had to transcribe that because I wanted to commit it to memory. So very wise.

Another VERY POWERFUL activity one can do besides the letters is the free Radical Forgiveness worksheet (you can get it online). This worksheet completely changed my life many times. Just like the letters, we break down the situation, actually situations as we also lost and forgive others who've done similar things throughout our lives, so we get to see the facts from our stories we made up about the facts. I stress again, Radical Forgiveness worksheet is VERY POWERFUL.

I love his idea how we tend to have an idealized and unrealistic perception about the other person on a first date .We like the person. We may intend to have a long term relationship. They must be fantastic then, right ? WRONG !!!!.It's not about enjoying the good stuff.it's also learning to live with and embrace the no so good stuff.

It happens to all of us. Sometimes more than once. What I've learned as a man and relationships is she will never love you for just being you. It's a constant game just to keep her satisfied and interested. It's not easy either cause what she wants is rarely what she's saying she wants. Once she loses the feeling for you you can't rationalize with her or use logic to try and fix it cause nothing matters to her but her feelings. That's why you see women repeatedly getting into horrible relationships cause they don't care about all the signs, they just follow their emotions impulsively, like a drug addict feeding an addiction. They know it's hurting them but they also get some pleasure and satisfaction out of the chaos and will never learn. She will eventually leave when someone else comes along that gives her the feeling you used too. She can walk away like you guys never shared everything , or promised to always be there, or all the intimate moments you thought were just for you. Then the next day she will be doing all of that with another guy giving him the glawk glawk 3000 like a psychopath.

Re: Divorce and kids: Kids raised by their mother are more prone to early pregnancy, trouble with the law, incarceration, do worse in school. For one parent, they do better living with just their father than just their mother. There are truly horrific and dangerous situations; but I wonder if a lot of people think their divorce is "better for the kids" when it's not.

Depends on the quality of the individual. Of course, a 2 parent intact family is the best, but much will depend on the age and gender of the children that stays with the individual parent. If either parent has custody of the children ( not 50/50) then they need to have high moral standards, which means no overnight sleep overs with people they are dating. It is essential that people they are dating, are only introduced to the children once the relationship is established. It is too difficult on children to get to know someone you are dating and 5 months later, they are no longer in your life. Both sexes are guilty of this, in my opinion. There are some amazing fathers but I have seen children really work their fathers and guilt them for things. Often in 50/50 custody situations, Dads spoil the kids and leave the disciplining to the mom who has to be the task master. The dads will do fun things with the kids and mom's have to run them to school, hold down a job, and have dinner on the table too. There are exceptions but this is what I have seen.

@Nathan Smutz that’s definitely not true! I am a single mother of 3. My oldest child is a 22 yrs old college graduate. He has never had one behavioral issue in school from k-12th grade. He has never ever had any run in with the law or ever arrested. He has always been a well adjusted child who has always done very well in school and also in college. Same thing with his sisters no school issues one is currently a sophomore in college and one is a sophomore in high school. I’ve put all 3 of them through private school their whole lives along with extra curriculum activities. Little league football, high school football, college football, little league baseball, little league basketball, cheerleading and dance school and volunteering in the community. None of them are or were teenager parents. It’s the level of work you are willing to do as the parent(It’s called self sacrifice). My children had and still have just as much or more than children that may have had 2 parents. I sowed into my children because I want them to be mentally and emotionally healthy, strong, self aware, well adjusted human beings.

@@lornabolden8538 Good job! And much respect. Doing both the mom and dad parts doesn't come easy and may not even be an obvious need to many women. My mom had uncles step up when she couldn't be around her dad anymore. There are stats showing kids doing better when there's just a dad in the neighborhood; which is frightening enough that there are enough neighborhoods without to compare.

Sometimes I often think and know that having a father around for them could have had a negative impact. Due to our parenting styles not being aligned. Oh and let me not forget to mention that my very own family dynamics. The support that I and my children receive from my parents, family and friends is amazing. We truly work on the It takes a village to raise a child method. We are all very close knit and a bit clannish with each other. We have created excellent memories and moments with each other!

Character can be traced back to the Greek, meaning “to sharpen, cut in furrows, or engrave.” This word gave the Greeks, a noun meaning “mark, distinctive quality” (a meaning that was shared by the Latin ). When English adopted the word in the 14th century this “a distinctive differentiating mark” was among the earliest meanings of the word, along with “a conventionalized graphic device placed on an object as an indication of ownership, origin, or relationship,” a definition that includes the letters of the alphabet which make up the word itself.

3:30 ish mark "something came over me....if they've done it once they've probably done many times" I disagree. I personally did something I regret recently and it was to a narcissist so apologizing proper and being forgiven is most likely not gonna solve the problem. I've never done something like this and don't plan on it cuz it made me not feel like myself. I believe the situation and character of the person determines whether they will do it again or if they have the will to do it again.

Yes. I agree. I want to know a person's story. When a man ran away after we dated a few times, I was left in a state of unrest because I did not get to know him, I did not learn his story. I have begun to tell him what I was thinking back then. But I have only recently told him in writing him a letter. I did it because I'm going to host meetings in my home and I am trying to neutralize the unspoken things between us tova small extent.

I’m Going to apply this to finding a mate. Now with social- Media and online dating, we can be more inquisitive, and ask questions for that exploration.., but we are also on guard. We are wondering if they are truthful. I think having a face -to-face will be more insightful for further understanding.
