My truck didnt overheat but think the pump blew. Horrible whinning bearing sound. Heard it last week figured perhaps the idle pulley went bad as I’ve had that happen before. Thankfully I pulled over as it got horrible. No white smoke didn’t get any rise in temp guage.
@@CB-wq9wp they changed the pump. But did hear if you let your battery go past its 3 yr life it can make your alternator go bad from overworking. I added coolant prob several mo the back. I think I let it run dry. 😮 unless the pump was due after 4.5 years 🤷♂️ overflow bottle was empty on the roadside. But figured was from the blow. They also said my lines are weeping a bit. So they’ll be due to change out. Which prob was what caused the lower coolant level many mo the back. Complete ID10T error on my part 🙁 🤦🏻♂️
I have diesel engine its water pump fails for the third time in a two and half month. What other possible causes will it causes to leak through exhaust? Note it is working every day at least for 8 hours six or seve days a week. Thank you for your answer in advance
