On the xbox after preordering the game it shows all that is being downloaded including the skins for the deluxe version. They are all named, alot of capcom costumes like Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy, and Ashley Graham.
The ability to fast forward time is such a great quality of life improvement. Idk how many playthroughs I spent standing around waiting only to get distracted then nearly miss out on what i was waiting for 😂
Its a remaster in name only, it's remade in RE engine with new models they a reusing animation Data which is upsetting I would of preferred reworked animations especially for cutscenes. I guess it's only called a remaster so they can call it DRDR
@@gibsonreno I understand why, I just feel like more work needed to be done to make me want to play this over the original, keep the animations for combat but at least rework the face animation for cutscenes to match the more detailed models
That time forward is finally useful once you have most collectibles you want done OR you wait for certain survivors to spawn (still wondering if 8 survivor limit is present), so you can get specific achievements. Also I wonder how they are going to change or make certain bosses harder like Carlito or Isabella as biggest challenge when fight them (same with Hale family or Cliff) was the fact you were sitting duck when firing weapons, so they could have easily hit you back, in case of Sean or Isabella they did lot of damage. I hope they dont remove any controversial stuff that made first game special. For real if Convicts appear and that famous dum dum, dum WELLL wont appear or if Hostile Groove wont appear in this game (fly routine/on mission) then I bet lot of people will be heavily disappointed.
Idk why nobody is talking about how the butcher shop guy was changed like completely changed he doesn’t look anywhere near what he used to in the original
There are still some good games coming out that are for current gen, but definitely not a lot LOL. This one I can safely say will be greatly fun to play again!
I’m just glad that the remastering I’m gonna call it a remake because they improved so much but they kept the same formula they made it where you can move and shoot, but they kept where you can just use anything as a weapon
I’m really excited for this. Although I’m super disappointed that TJ isn’t back as Frank and that none of the OG voice actors are back. The original game will forever be my favourite BUT my love for the original is what is influencing my purchase of the remake. Nothing will ever compare to the original though.
Okay hot take I personally like the ability to disable the timer I do understand why it's there but for someone who just wants to jump into a world where you can just kill zombies endlessly it's kind of annoying to be on a time limit That's why I love Dead rising 4 it's cuz there's no rush to beat the game now I am also a sucker for the timer as well I played through Dead rising 3 and Dead rising 2 it wasn't a big fan of DR1 but I'm going to give the remake a try or a remaster whatever only thing I wish is that one of two things happens either a after you beat the game it gives you an option to remove the timer and have a free play mode or be just remove the timer outright for people who don't care about achievements like you can remove the timer but you don't get achievements for that playthrough because sometimes I just want to jump into a game and kill zombies I don't want to have to worry about a timer arbitrarily slowing me down or making me rush
If the game is easier when it comes to the survivors their ai and the addition of stairs then the time limit doesn't matter because that's the bulk of the gameplay
The time limit will still matter. The bad ai wasn’t an intentional design choice. It was just poor execution. The rest of the game is perfect. TJ not being back is the main problem. The time limit is still there and who knows? They may add more things to do to keep the pace fast.
@@MR.ICE. if you want to hear TJ voice Frank West you can play the original, Dead rising is probably my favorite game but I'm not a purist the more changes the better. If the AI is better you won't have to waste as much time bringing them back to the safe house so the game is easier and the time doesn't matter
@@k.crobbins7603 I’m gonna play both. The original will forever be my favourite. And I will forever be disappointed that it isn’t TJ doing the voice. But it’s not a deal breaker for me. The gameplay looks epic. However, I have to disagree about the more changes the better. The original was almost perfect. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The only changes necessary truly are small gameplay adjustments like AI and being able to move and aim with a gun. Also the input for dodge roll. Because that was a true nightmare.
@@MR.ICE. since the original can be accessed on pretty much every console there is literally no point to have a remaster unless there are changes that make the game worth buying a second time the more changes the better.
I think that the game should keep its original base when it comes to the time limit but I also don't think its a "skill issue" or someone "shouldn't play the game" some people sometimes don't want to feel rushed and don't want to feel like they can't explore which is one of the best things about this game. for someone who owns all of the DR series I can agree time is huge but there should also be a free roam for those who are more casual.
I exactly agree with this statement I'm the kind of guy who likes to run around and kill zombies sometimes I don't mind the timer it's just I love the non-timer in Dead rising 4 because I can just take as much time as I want and kill as many zombies as I want and I don't have to worry about rushing through the story because the military is going to tactical nuke the place or I need to extract out of the place before the military comes
I disagree with you about the timer. They should give the option to disable it if the player wants to. I played the original to death on the Xbox 360. Now I just want to play it and have the option to play at my own pace.
If they got rid of the timer the game wouldn’t even be Dead Rising anymore. The game gives you plenty of time to do all cases and get a good amount of survivors and psychopaths.
@@CyberMonty2077 I think a good compromise would be to add a new game plus option where the game already saves all the survivors and psychopaths you beat in your first play through only leaving the ones you didn’t do for the new game plus runs so if you want to experience all the content you can do it that way while still having the main concept of the game in tact.
I don't like the voice acting for this deluxe remaster, it sounds pretty bad. Hopefully they're just using the worst takes for the trailers cause even for modern capcom the VA sounds like RE4remake Ada levels of trying to act. I don't condone harassment this is capcom's fault, but man the VA doesn't sell me, and unless there's other language options for the spoken dialogue I can't buy this game without a mod to change it.
To honest I wish Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster have sandboxe mode as a option for everyone who are all ready finished the story including the time limit so we can explore the mall & have fun killng zombies with no stressfulness of the time limit like Dead Rising 2 Off The Records. I still like to play the story mode time limit in this game because I really like the story & cutscenes can have different endings depends if you care about finding the cure & finding out what happen in willamette mall. I wish they're bring back the original actors I'm not sure about Frank West new voice the face looks bit weird for me but less hope is a lot better then Dead Rising 4.

I hope they'll eventually do Deluxe Remaster for DR2 & DR2: OTR. This series craves new blood and this game just re-started Dead Rising's dead heart from the grave!
9:11 since the original resident evil 4 along side the remake that gives me hope that they keep the original Dead rising on modern consoles and not delist it 🥲 *just in case though I purchased all 3 games DR1 DR2 DROFF*
