That car looks absolutely beautiful, particularly the interior (SEATS). Whatever you do, please DO NOT change that beautiful red finish. I love the sound of the supercharger on these. Wind up sound, like a jet engine. I'm just psyched getting a 2007 Rally Yellow Cobalt, either a SS or LT. I love the leather seats, and the car. Sadly, you can't comment on your follow up video you did a year later. Love your material!
If it makes you feel any better Adam, I know bad transmissions. I first learned to drive manual transmission on a 1976 Dodge pick up truck. It had a three speed shifter on the steering column "three on the tree." Those things were nasty for hanging up when you would try to shift. The better car I learned on was a 1982 Ford Escort, with a four speed manual on the floor, but you still had to down shift. These Cobalts really are a night and day difference with the five speed manual, and you don't have to down shift. I love the sound of these early supercharged Cobalts, when they drive by. I'm just pumped to get a Rally Yellow 2007 Cobalt SS.
I like how he started out all professional in the beginnin but then became clearly agitated once the random f**kin quarter panel decided to let itself be known LOL! I started f**kin cryin when he paused and began to think about how he should either utilize his anger on the object or contain himself for the sake of the f**kin video LMFAO! His anger began to progressively spill over as the video went on LMMFAOOO! This is my kinda guy right here, angry, vulgar, and honest! We need more men like this in this sissified country! But anyway, these lil cars are pretty sweet tho. My girl just got a silver one that shes goin to use as her secondary/daily driver. Its a bone stock, 07 model thats supercharged. The whine on it is really loud despite it bein super slow. Sounds really sweet at WOT tho. It is rather small on the inside especially for a long, lanky cat like me thats well over 6 feet tall but it is manageable. Im already plottin on pullin the motor out and tinkerin with it and im probly gonna paint that b**ch red or black. My girls bout to be super pissed off but, oh well LMFAO!
Pretty sure I had the same issue with my 06 trunk not opening with key, found out it was because I was using the valet key instead of the owner key! Now the trunk opens fine, still use the botton for the most part tho
I actually realized one question I had last night. Did the leaky gas cap issue ever get resolved with the Cobalts? I would think a solution would be to get a locking gas cap, especially with these insanely high gas prices, but that's just me.
Something serious to know, the key hole for the trunk has issues. You can't use the key, but you can use a common pair of scissors to pop it. I am curious though. Does the trunk have a matt finish? my hats off to the Cobalt community for being so helpful. I have my eye on a 2007 Rally Yellow Cobalt LT, and I have ideas for it. I've had great luck with GM cars. I owned a 1984 Pontiac Sunbird in the early nineties, and the only thing I had to replace was the timing belt. I can't wait for my Cobalt. I just want a sweet car, and that Rally Yellow is irresistible.
