We do it all. From roadside service to automotive repair services. When potential clients contact us for a tow we’re automatically fishing to find out if the vehicle requires a minor repair or major repair.

I’m with you 1000% on that! I’ve decided I’m done turning wrenches but if it’s small enough and I can get it done fast enough and of course the money is there in the toolbox comes out 😅 for the sake of the money, but for the sake of repeat customers, I’ll make sure to feed the jobs to the shops. I don’t want to take money out of your pocket either. Long as I can get the tow

I just got into Roadside game a few months ago and whats funny is how you said uber is a good side hustle. Its exactly what i was doing before i jumped on Roadside. Trying to get my truck soon 😀

Do you actually have to have commercial insurance though? Especially if you're not doing towing.. like you can always use your personal truck to do the same thing, no?

Whenever you are conducting any type of business using your truck it stop being personal vehicle since your using it for work

@@jsalazar806 here, DOT will harass you, ticket you if using your personal vehicle for work! example, mowing yards, or even picking up cans on side of the road, need CDL, plus DOT numbers. total B.S. so if driving down road with a mower, your subject to get pulled and questioned, if your hauling to your other house, or farm, your ok, but if mowing friends yard, if they think its to make money, expect ticket, you can haul it in to be repaired, but its gone too far, this is redneck area, not a big city! as for the picking up cans, your actively picking up cans, but because your doing lbor, and hauling them for the scrap metal, yes its a business, and any vehicle used for business needs DOT numbers, and you need a CDL to use it commercially. i plan to do something in neighboring state without stupid laws like these, also with major roads, versus rural country backroads

i have most of the tools, equipment, I was a mechanic for many years, then body man, plus Harley mechanic, but I dont have any savings, no way to afford insurance, my ex gf left me in a major financial mess. actually I had to borrow a little to pay electric bills in winter, in summer I can actually save a few hundred a month, nothing will get better for 3 years. i was considering idea for area my new GF lives in, next door state, with several major interstates within 5 miles from her house. but i cant do full time, i cant walk away from my job, until i have a steady source of income. but totally sick of my job. so im more or less trapped for a few years.

Just start you an LLC. And go from there, you can advertise your business free on Google, look it up! I how this helps you get started. Once I get started I will be helping a many as I can for free. Use your experience as leverage when applying for loans as well it may help
