Zeros' ban is very much the last straw situation as this guy is notoriously known for being the root of so much drama in the VCS. And if I'm not wrong, he was serving or just finished serving another ban when he made the joke. Also, he wasn't just banned from Pro League of Legends. He was banned from all of Riot's professional esports scenes.
Additionally, Zeros's brother, former LoL proplayer , currently playing for a LoL Wild Rift team, also got global ban due to his action of settling scores of his team' matches. So in VN, we know them as "the global ban duo"
Banned for being toxic, but for wintrading or troll picks is ok, I played a game yesterday with a kassadin support, and he would deliberately hit the minions so I would miss cs as and adc, ult the wave and q w e so I won't be able to last hit all of them, yet people were calling me toxic because "I should know how to last hit"
About the chinese gambling, there's one chinese pro player(i think?) stayed in fountain and spamming stop command(with the help of a liss) after suspecting enemies(even some teammates) betting on him getting 10+ kills. That game continued for around an hour or more til enemies got tired of jumping into fountain and just surrender.

i think the problem here is, that many ppl died from covid in vietnam. So by saying, " i hope it gets worse" he says, i hope more ppl die. So from that perspective a perma ban seems reasonable

Zeros was banned because talking covid was against the government harsh policy towards the pandemic, not just the speech was inappropriate as in it was offensive to the VCS teams
A quick edit about 1st place. The game ROX played wasn't imortant at all. Both team won't be qualified to semi-finals neverminde of outcome. That was one of the reason for Solo to bet against his team. And Solo was banned not only from StarLadder, but from all tournaments for life time by Valve coz he made a bet, but in few years that decision was reverted.

322 is a Dota 2 meme used when a good team is playing uncharacteristically bad. So if any LoL players catch a Dota 2 match and hear a caster say 322. Chances are that they are literally saying that the losing team looks like they are throwing.

Uh making a joke about COVID 19 which is a serious issue and offensive to hard. Also he’s got Suspended is some case because of bringing up the GAM about the salary.
Some informations about Zeros, he constantly gets ban from times to times due to his uncontrollable mouth causing his team to be in disadvantage during the seasons. So when he doing the covid joke at the peak period of the pandemic in Vietnam. He got global ban. He has two older brothers, whose also pro players, and they’re both banned from league, in which his second brother got busted thanks to his “uncontrollable mouth”. So basically he was not only harmed himself with his mouth but also his brother.
if you're smart about how you're being toxic you won't get caught by the system but if you do something stupid like give someone a death threat or call someone a slur you will get banned instantly regardless of your account standing prior
I think any ban that isn't based on cheating isn't valid as a ban as it's not applicable to the game gambling that's their business not the game pro league unless they are taking bets no one should be burdened by that. Being a shitty person shouldn't get your ass banned period. And fucking joking or being salty or whatever doesn't matter shouldn't have been banned. Generally the more I look at bans in League the more I see a problem with the higher ups being actual scum bags.
Yep, and I think it's even off by default but I might be wrong. You can access them in game and choose to take them or go with your own. Also, I believe they do take one of your pages and modify it, so beware of that.

Well in my opinion perma bans are too harsh They are trashing their servers with banned accounts When they can just disable chat for toxic people and it would benefit both sides
@@Charlett Eh. Even if they did that they'll find other ways to be toxic like afking or running it down. If their stupid behinds got perma banned then I'm certain they got the previous forms of punishment to warn them (like chat restriction and being banned for some days) first unless they did somethin really out of line.
@@furnoprime9439 Well In case of running it down/afk I had an idea then yes u ban them, but 1st for week then 2 weeks then month then 2 months and so on multiplying thier ban time by 2 It's still better punishment then perma ban And the worst time that u need a long time to wear off "ur ban avability" I got perma after 1,5 month of getting last ban, both time of ban and how quickly u receive it is ridiculous

@@Charlett While normally players get chat restrictions as their first punishments (10-games for strike 1 & 25-games for strike 2), gameplay related misbehavior when confirmed to be intentional is given a minimum 2-week ban (strike 3) as the first punishment as opposed to chat restrictions since those obviously wouldn't stop someone from misbehaving via gameplay. Continuous misbehavior after that results in a permaban (strike 4). That said it is possible to get your account in good standing again before being permabanned by showing a genuine consistent effort to shape up (easier said than done I know but still though). For some a permaban might seem too harsh, & indeed many have suggested an extra step in-between strikes 3 & 4 such as a 1 month ban, but overall at some point you have to put your foot down when it's clear someone won't stop misbehaving no matter how many chances they're given. If they try to get around it by playing on alts more often than not they don't last long as Riot has ways of tracking peoples alts & can instaban them if need be, such as with an ID ban (permaban on sight) in the worst case scenario (which even then there's still a chance for redemption if after a year they ask Riot for & can prove to them they deserve another chance (permabanned accounts stay banned though)).

I believe it technically is. Because it could be implied that somehow you influenced a player on the opposing team to do something to get you to win. In general sports most pro athletes cant bet on their games.
I HATE IT when one of my friends ALWAYS Rage Quits. Just because early game is rough and then leaves me hanging in the game that we could've actually won if he was there... I don't think that the "joke" ban was excessive. it was not his first drama, but at the same time his "joke" was far over the top. It was the first part that was absolutely unacceptable. He said that the pandemic, that LITERALLY killed millions, should become worse. In what world would that be an acceptable joke for a sportsman. He is a pro competitor, not a pro comedian.

well, riot is holding many secrets. For exmple the time they banned the wrong player, who just happend to be an experince hacker, who then hacked in to riot tech support and stole 20,000 players privat information. Riot constantly do mistakes with players that they dont have any regards for. Some times those choises back fire at the company and therefor they decied to either hide it or show evryone about it. Like when they got critisim for all females being sexy and curvy: Illoi was born. Or when there were not enough "black" characters: Lucian was created. Or when they ignored unban request from a smal hacker who created nearly 500 chellnger accounts and ruined over 3000 games for nearly 27 000 players over a span of 6 months. Riot do not think carefully over deccions when they make them. Thats why riot also lose money the moment they make poor calls.
Whats worse for the Player of lossing a high month salary then someone with a low month salary who needs every Coin he can get? It makes it much less hard, when you have a ton on money and dont need your next salary.
