3 days? that's such a light statement. they deserve a suspension for sure and for longer. the suspension would be temporary but spoilers rob the fun out of everyone for that movie permanently. spoilers rob the fun out of everyone, suspension robs the fun out of spoilers. proportional punishment. I don't see how that's an undeserved.
LOL I really did think about adding a spoiler warning! But I figured it's kind of an old movie and anyone who cares about the Avengers would have seen it by now.
@@NicolaiLol worry not, it's a secret blessing. There was a study proving people who has books etc spoiled enjoyed it more. I suppose it's something to do with appreciating the small things more
Man the Singed ban reminded me why League community is so static when it comes to strategies or builds, if a pro or random Korean didn't do it then they are trolling. i've seen people flame ADCs for not building IE first (Please note there's ADCs who either build Essence Reaver, or Blood Thrister for my utility or reliability then rushing IE and praying for a crit) I've seen people getting flamed for going alternative builds, like a Master Yi built crit and destroyed the Early and Mid game because enemy team was full of squishes and assassins, but a full slow Ahri and Leona were flaming Yi because he didn't go on hit He was 16/5/7 and did 55k Damage
I don't see the issue about uncommon supports. Singed is an okay pick. He's not good, but I've done that before and I've picked worse options. He can peel, is somewhat tanky and might be fun to play. He struggles in the laning phase against poke supports, though. Trying out new things or trying to get them to work is a part of league of legends and should not be bannable...especially when you're doing it well.
@@Toni7926 Yeah, but the guy wasnt playing as "support". He wasnt in lane that much. He was playing more similar to river shen, but he was counterjungling instead. He had the support role, but he wasnt supporting his adc too much tbh.
Honestly, the singed thing is just bs. Even if he got higher while playing singed "correctly", you can't know if he's actually having fun. If a pro player played singed support with smite and it went well, it would become meta, but a gold player cant? As long as he's trying to win, there should be absolutely no issue with the champs or roles you play...
Idk if he should get banned or not, but it's not black and white like you're saing dude. You have to understand that it's not just an "unusual build", he queues as support, but he's not a support, he picks smite to counter jungle and basically plays as a decoy all game (if I remember correctly). He's fundamentelly changing how the game is played for everyone in the game. If you're playing adc, you will have to play solo for most of the lane and the game, and not have a support to peel you. And that's the fucking point, he's forcing everyone on his team to cooperate with his strategy ( that's the same reason why people hate funnel btw). Just imagine you irl doing a 5 man job and 4 of the 5 people have one idea and the one guy that has a different one forces everyone on the group to cooperate with him, because if they don't, he will fuck up the project. As I said, idk if this should be bannable, but it is fucking annoying for everyone involved that isn't him.
Metas were something invented by players which Riot ended up adapting to. You shouldn't get banned for playing the way you like, unless you're obviously trolling or not trying to win. If it's not stated in the rules, you shouldn't get banned. That's it. It's just retarded to ask a player to stop playing the strategy he likes because others don't.
Except there is an issue with it, he's lowering the chances of winning by so much he might as well be trolling. I could go Full AP Zed, would this be okay? He doesn't have any AP scaling but I'm still trying to win. It's like you're trying to hammer in a nail with a spoon and your entire team tells you to just use the fuckin' hammer but you're too much of a troll to care.
Breaking the meta is not a bannable offense as its clearly stated in the Summoners Code so yes its plain bullshit. Frustrating for their teammates but its not punishable by game rules.
@@filipjphry3282 If that was league, and some adc pro picked a fucking singed adc they'd get banned from competitive play for a year or something. Dota is so much better in terms of picking whatever you want for whatever role you want to play because the DOTA playerbase isn't being programmed to have 5 specific roles that only specific champions/heroes can play. I'd go centaur carry and win a DOTA game without getting reported, I go fucking Ornn adc in league and i get a 14 day ban. Fucking stupid. Edit: I forgot to add, you cannot mess around with items in league without getting reported because your fucking abilities scale with your items, there are heroes like that in dota but NOT ALL OF THEM.
@@nydra9912 You got banned because A. You fed your ass off because Ornn isn't balanced around being an adc. B. You flamed your teammates than just muting them and letting them bark. C. They think you're trolling. Either way, if nobody agreed in you playing Ornn adc then you would've needed to be hella fed to convince them otherwise. They're there to play normally, and they expected you to play what the team needed. An ADC. And just because people don't bark at you for picking offlane Windrunner for example, doesn't mean they don't think you're being stupid for doing so.
@@Geheimnis-c2e still better than league. In every possible way. Dota2 even has voice chat and it’s better than league, imagine if league has voice chat omfg.
One of my friend got his S2 main account permabanned due to a bug that occured in the Twisted Treeline, that consisted on this: You would play as an Ezreal and there's gotta be an enemy Shaco, so as it follows. Ezreal would cast the E on a major wall, at the other side there would be Shaco in stealth and somehow the damage proc of his E would hit him even if he was in stealth mode. So that caused him to get permabanned, pretty unfair to say the less.
I remember back in season 8 I was super tilted from playing Support so one weekend close to the end of the season I decided to just spam Hecarim jungle until I hit Gold to get the Orianna skin. So I started grinding and the games were going surprisingly well and I ended up winning 11 out of 13 games (I think it was 13, it might have been 12) and hit Gold. This was all fine until I got suspended for 14 days for "getting my account boosted to Gold" because "no support main just goes on a winning streak as a Jungler". I emailed Riot and they insisted I got boosted and I didn't get my skin which is the only Victorious skin I've ever wanted :( After this I had a good 4 month period of not playing the game because I felt like Riot had taken the one thing I wanted - it was my first time hitting Gold... I wanted it to be a happy moment of peaking in ranked, but then I get hit with this instead. EDIT: I get that it could be seen as evidence of boosting but for context I was already Silver 3 or 2 (can't remember) so it's not like I was far from Gold and a random winstreak isn't clear evidence. I could see it if I was further from Gold maybe. EDIT 2: Riot also said something about my IP being different than usual which was because I was at my then boyfriend's house that weekend. He did give me a few tips on how to play Hecarim as it's one of his mains but he didn't play the games. This is why I didn't argue in the first place - I can't technically proof where I was located and that I was the one playing and I didn't want to risk an account I spend so much money on.
You should've started a petition and called out Riot on their bullcrap. They have no evidence that you even got boosted at all and they can't say you can only stick to one role because you mainly play a different role.
@@HighSummonerBWM When you pick up a new role and suddenly have a winrate over 80% which gets you into gold at the end of the season, that is pretty strong evidence you were boosted.
@@tarmairon431 If using a champ that is in a game and decided to play a role that is secondary or something I really play, yet realized I am good with that champ and role, is called boosted, then they should ban 80%+ players who do this. I play Lissandra sometimes top even though that is not a role I play and I was winning most of my games like that. It is ridiculous and Riot don't even know the real meaning of boosting. Don't forget that the game can autofilled, so if I use a champ I am autofilled in, I can get banned because they claim it is boosting, yet the game threw me in that role. That's bullcrap and I'm not believing it.
I love how riot will force a name change for someone with the name "corona" but not someone who has a very obvious name that has a racist word in it with one letter missing.
"You can report a player-" Shows image of someone reporting a yasuo for "griefing and giving up" I caught your reference real fast. The classic 0//10 yasuo
My best friend's little brother was banned because he said, "gg have a beautiful day man" at the end of a game and when he made a new account, he named it BeautifulDayMan
I remember spoiling P*rn in the chat and no one complained about it.. in fact, at the end of the game they keep on asking me the title of the vid.. For context, I just spoiled to my duo that the "actress" she saw on a 9gag post is doing backdoor..
Actually about number 3: From a youtuber called Vandrill I've heard that some players were using special programmes that helped them recreate the bug, so that might be also the reason they got banned.
Okay 9:30 is not okay. Riot banning a player for finding another way to play the game without cheating, exploiting, or being rude in any way is against what any game developer should expect from their players. You give players the tools to do this, but did you ever think they could do something else? You can't ban a player for gameplay creativity and going against what is normal. Simply banning a player for playing the game and giving it their all is counter-intuitive for any game-developing philosophy. Riot might as well say "you play the game the way we want you to, not in any other way you think." This makes the game rigid and boring if this is the case. Just because it isn't meta or normal, does it mean it's right to ban them for playing a champion they enjoy and aren't trolling with?
So a pretty funny thing is my friend he is intentionally toxic every game just to mess with me because if I say even the slightest tiny toxic thing once in a blue moon I get chat restrictions, while he just does it for fun since he literally never could get anything for it. Then we intentionally reported him 3 games in a row and he got an immediate 14 day and no chat restrictions. It's an odd thing I guess.
I once got banned for inting with the second least deaths in the game because when I died my death timer was long enough for them to have won before I rezzed. So, while dead, I sold everything and bought 6 tears as a crying joke, the game was ended before I respawned and yet I got a two week ban for inting.
Did something similar with viktor a few years ago when icefang( the mana support item) allowed for gold farming a bit better I was taking him top and essentually locking the other top player down and unable to farm. My cs was always low as i never farmed actual minnions but kept lane frozen and farmed off enemy. Always ended the game with more gold and a great k/d ratio than anyone else But people always accused me of trolling it saying im bad
The singed main actually hit plat playing support singed. But then Riot forced him to stop playing the strat so he dropped down to Gold. Thats why you see his op.gg say he was gold in s6. I remember the story really well.
Pro players play Miss Fortune and Ashe bot lane (2016) Riot: That's what I like to see My man running Singed support Riot: No thank you All I got here was that if you're somewhat famous, you won't get banned
correct. some streamers get unbanned becouse they bring clout to riot games/league of legends no matter how toxic they were. meanwhile others get banned for playing unique items or champs on specific roles.
A friend of mine renamed his account to "Han Solo Dies" when that Star Wars movie came out and was never banned. He is now called "Tony Stark RIP" ever since Endgame came out. :D no action was taken so far.
I got banned for 14 days for saying to my friend who was having discord problem that he needs to uninstall it. I basically said to him in-game chat "Uninstall" and i got ban, Sent mail to riot and they said it was toxic
To be honest, bugs are the companies fault and are a part of a game, so you should fire your employee and not the players for using what the game offers.
I got temporarily banned for a bug in the store that wasn’t even my fault. The bug resulted in me paying $10 for 5,000 RP, which riot thought I was “exploiting a bug” and eventually I got it settled I was just like bruh I don’t want these extra 4,000 RP take it back and give me my account back.
At the topic of #3, in short it's called bug abuse. When you find a game breaking bug it's fine, but if you choose to abuse it, then it becomes bannable.
Although I’m late I wanted to mention that the Singed player got reported because he queue’d support but took smite because he was ‘counterjungling’ 24/7. Adc was 1v2 in lane and the singed kept on feeding the enemy jungler. Got banned for rolestealing since he was basically playing jungle while queueing support
I recently got chat restricted for telling our shaco jungle "nice try shaco" after he attempted to steal baron and fell short. He survived and my next message after "nice try shaco" was "dont worry guys we have soul its winnable". Riot games is weird, and the chat log that was given to me for my chat restriction was those two things, and me keeping time of summoners. I said literally nothing else in that game other than that yet got my honor level 3 reset to nothing because riot is great :)
In regards to the players getting banned for 'feeding' in poppy/kayn bug games; No, they did not get their LP back. Riot has stated multiple times that they literally are not able to add LP onto accounts. So I'm fairly sure they didn't get it back.
I believe that Riot fights WAY too hard against off meta picks. If you manage to get into gold with Singed support, then you know damn well that this singed is better than at least 50% of all ranked players. It might not be the most optimal position, but you wouldn't know unless you try. Same with playing enchanters in the top lane or kennen ADC, that riot nerfed into the ground because they felt that it is not the way the game should be played.
Was once chat restricted for 80 games because I said "I think we really need this dragon" and nothing else. Riot did not mention anything until I had played 75 games with this and removed it. However they did not give me back my honor lvl
"You'll get banned for spoiling a movie" Nicolai: *Spoils endgame without a spoiler alert* People who still haven't seen the movie: Am I a joke to you?
"Youre putting your enemies at an unfair advantage" Oh okay didn't realize that was against the rules, go ahead and get that cs bud I'll sit back and if I kill you then I'll let you get one.
Once i was banned for 14 days because an anivia was trolling me and the entire game reported me cuz they found funny that i was mad after the anivia for blocking me off 30 minutes of a game.
I love how the Singed smite support guy did the exact opposite of Janna smite top and he was threatened with a ban and Janna top is still useable. gotta love that
I'm a Draven full ap mid and darkharves ignite is super good, expecially if you build lich bane first item. I play in bronze 4 since season 3 but I swear, it works
I once got a ban for saying one comment at the end of a game. I was playing Graves and at the very end I said: "I guess you could say they got put... In their GRAVES"
My experience with abusing a LoL bug was during the VS Event. I picked Order. Then I relogged because of some issues and I was joking with my friend on discord saying "WTF They gave me another choice even though I already picked. Now I have both of them!" and literally seconds later when I actually logged in, that's exactly what happened. Now I have icons exclusive to both sides during that event to prove it.
I remember the Corona thing, and the funniest part was that the thread got filled up with people naming account that were straight up racial slurs that were still active accounts despite being reported. Made Riot look even dumber during the whole thing.
Every game company that cries and bans about people using glitches in the game should either fire whoever is responsible for handling these matters or just straight up delete their game. It's literally like leaving swords on the floor of a gladiator arena and then complain that the gladiators picked them up to fight.

When you get banned for playing teemo, into a tryn, win lane, help your team, do everything you could and were friendly. And you get banned cause the hatred for teemo is so intense everyone in the match reports you. Legit, do not play teemo. If you wanna avoid that happening to you, don't play him.
Lol I hate Teemo too, because I swear people only pick him to be annoying. I'd never wish a ban on a Teemo player though, it's Riot's fault for making such an annoying champion.
I remember back in the day, around season 4 when league was at its peak for toxicity hype with T1, I was in a game with Imaqtpie and was supporting him. I just casually mentioned he reminded me of the cavemen from the old Geico(?) commercials and I got perma'd right after that game
The getting banned for bugs reminds me of DisguisedToast from Hearthstone. He would make videos talking about bugs that popped up in the game in order to inform Blizzard about them, but Blizzard ended up banning him every time he did so because "you are spreading the word about the bugs and making people use them more". Pretty sure that was the biggest reason why he stopped playing it and switched to autochess instead.
Well, i was permabanned from lol in 2014 because of playing good. I was an Elise mid main at that time, and i was gold 1. One of my matches(which should be my final match to be platinum) i just played awesome and finished the game with 33/0/8. And just for playing that good, Riot has permabanned my account. I emailed to them but they just said you are hacker so you have to be banned. Now i play valorant and im waiting for the ban too lmao.
Do you really mean that? What if he had tickets to go the the movie the next day so he was playing league the day before. There are so many reasons why an avengers fan could be playing league.

When World of Warcraft came out, I used one of the aliases I had used with my friends for years prior in other games: Mailbox. The Singed one is complete bullshit. Also remember Nubrac? He went diamond with Teemo support on mid and there was a lot of drama over him playing that. So it has nothing to do with ELO. Riot just doesnt know their own game rules.
I've got banned for kindly asking the enemies to report my jungle, because I had a bad game and got flamed by him. Then he asked for what he should get reported, I quoted him, with all the necessary things - and got banned . Then I wrote the riot support, which told me that it wasnt about that game, etc., although that game was the only game in my ban review. After my conversation with the support, suddenly there were 2 other games given as reason for the ban.... I love Riot Games support
oh and im sure the victims of bug abusers got their honor back. i got 14 day for running it on sion. i wasn't toxic, i had the most dmg in game and the graphs for dmg to objectives and turrets made it look like i was the only one hitting turrets. i contacted support, they got back to me pretty quickly and the dude was chill with me. we spoke live and he's like 'yeah, its apparently an effective strategy that works for you but if its consistently upsetting your team maybe try working with them instead.' which okay sure, i hear you, but nah lol. he probably felt obligated to say something but technically i did nothing wrong so he lifted the suspension and restored my honor AND even rounded it up to the next checkpoint lol. which might've just been the only way, it could be that progress between is lost, but they can see the level and checkpoint. so shout out to that dude, i think he goes by Fat Rakkan or Fat Support something like that. but yeah, the people banned and unbanned 100% had to've gotten their honor back, but who says they weren't actually honor 0 already lol
You can ban anyone in game instantly for 14 days. Report them for inting as an intentional feeding ban is distributed by volume of reports within X games. If you 4-man team you can ban anyone you want.
I got a 14 day suspension for playing Lux as an APC, I wasn't feeding at all , my cs was great, but sadly I got into a game with 3 premades (Top,Jg and Mid) who didn't like that I took Lux. The best thing about all this is, the reason I got a ban was because of my CHAT LOG! All I said that game was "gg wp". I literally lost my braincells even reading that report.
I was once banned for 100 years, after my account got hacked. Idk what he did with my account, but after hitting up Riot support, they unbanned it and I changed my pw.
One time on my account HeyItsGod on NA I had probably about 400 dollars of skins and early into season 6 I was hospitalized. My cousin started playing on my computer without me knowing and unleashed a toxic side, my account was fairly perm banned but the only problem was it wasn’t me and I didn’t even know he had my account. The message I got back from riot was “don’t share your account” 😢
