Before this video, I would insert the phone directly into my mouth when recording in a crowd of strangers. I did notice that it sounded a little off, so I would just give it a little correction with Super Pop, typically I would set it to 100/100. In tried a little more, but I think the slider was buggy or something. I didn’t have to worry about coughing or anything though. The gagging sounds covered it up quite nicely. And as far as the mic, I thought it sounded great just about a quarter-inch from my uvula.

That's true. I found much better clearer sound when i use apple headset in my android.

I think you're right on this, now I am using a condenser microphone and use. And thanks for the info about the effect because I didn't like the effects using in smule too much, because I don't feel my voice in, in that case I used my voice with no effect.

Polish effect seems to sound better than studio for the 4 android devices I've had the app on. I do need to get vip to use the super studio effect though because I think the issue is me having to record in large rooms with minimal furniture.

But I like to make it fun to sing .... reproduction of the original song is so ho hum... but great tips for beginners! Kudos! 😉😍👏👏👏👏👏💓👌

I hear some singers on there and they sound like they recorded the song at a state of the art studio ...I’m not sure how they get such a crisp and clear sound...with my Android I did notice the phone mic is better than the headphones mic with IOS it’s not working for me I have to invest in some original Apple headphones because it picks up static and like a fan noise with a every type headphones I tried the IOS mic but it’s toooooooo sensitive 😒 I wonder if there is a way to connect a professional mic

I managed to learn these over the time thru trial and error. I use an apple ear piece that goes on a charger port.. mine is an iphone5.. (old school🙄). I think they sound the best .. doesnt pick up as much air and background noises like the ones with a jack. Just my opinion 👍

Another thing you may want to mention I found using an iRig mic pre with Apple headphones plugged in and singing on a Shure 58 beta have given excellent results also with a mic table attached you may use any Mic you like condenser or dynamic

I'm enjoying Emule for about three months, it became my favorite hobby, but... since a week ago the sound reproducing the videos has changed dramatically :( not in the other persona voice, but mine. I don't use a cellphone, so I record with my tablet, which is playing perfectly other sounds that I've recorded to make the proof. I'm really sad. And I can't find a tip to fix the sound problem. I use pop fx a lot I love it. You have know how sing with pop fx in order for it to Sound good. Ppl should be able to use whatever function they like on their voices it's for fun no one's getting paid money to sing on there it's for fun and enjoyment you paying for it so use whatever function you like.

Hi , I am using Android to sing in Smule, I am not happy with the voice quality , I have used 5-6 earphones and 3-4 different phones (incl Lg V30 and Samsung galaxy s6) and Samson go Mic as well. But none of them really worked. The only choice left is iPhone. People say Smule works best with iPhone. Is it true? Kindly advice.

I need help with something pleeease!! I joined with a VIP account on one of my cell phones but that cell phone microphone is delayed and the quality is poor. So i tried to log in from another device, and im fully logged in as my username but it is denying me the VIP access which i fully paid for! WHY IS THIS APP FORCING ME TO PAY AGAIN FOR VIP ACCESS when i already paid for it?? Is this there way of scamming people that if you want to sing from another device, even if you are already signed up as a VIP MEMBER you have to pay all over again???
