This is so true. Falling off the wagon, or getting derailed, happens for so many reasons (i.e. traveling, visiting family, attending someone else's party, approaching the holidays and baking more vegan, but calorie laden, desserts, change in seasons, etc). Small attainable goals is definitely helpful. Taking one day at a time and enjoying the journey, rather than looking for quick results, is the most important thing for me.
Love that your back! Always love seeing what hat you’re wearing. We get “taking a break” take one anytime you need it. We’all have your reruns! But we love seeing you when we can and your meals are SO easy and simple and I love that!
Thank you for sharing this! I have struggled to eat healthy even though it’s what I prefer. I have a big family, five kids (all grown) and six grandkids. It seems someone always needs me for something. Although I wouldn’t have it any other way, it has been hard to stay on track. Often even my pre-planning of meals time gets derailed, lol.
I like how you show quick meals by putting various items together when there really isn’t time to make a soup or a complex meal. I run into trouble when I’m hangry! I just bought the bundle through your link. This looks like a great bundle this year. 👍
Tia, Hi! I just discovered your videos this weekend. I am trying to go vegan and must lose 50 lbs as soon as possible. Your video on reasons it doesn't work really made sense today. I don't drink or smoke but have been a true foodaholic. I also lost a son 30 years ago when he was 14 and went on Paxil for 25 years. I use food emotionally but now with excess weight up to 340 lbs and very sedentary due to bone on bone knee pain. I lost 70 pounds last year after bariatric surgery but not final 50. My orthopedic surgeon says to lose 50 more pounds and I will get first new knee and then 6 mos later second knee. If I buy your book, which one due you think I should start with and portion control is what I need also. I can't walk far. Walking in a grocery store is hard on me. As soon as warmer weather comes in March, I get in my pool to do gentle water aerobics. Please advise. Thank you. Trish in Florida
Thanks Tia, watching this video has helped me reset my mindset again and make the 1st steps to get back into healthy habits again. I need to prioritize my own health. Id done so very well in my journey, then my partner who was working away on rotation has returned to live & work from home. Which obviously is great, but as he does not enjoy my vegan healthy choices (50/50 plate) slowly ive moved to accommodate his meals 😢 and im not happy with myself anymore. You're so down to earth & relatable, thank you.❤

Maybe you could answer my question ? Why are sprays like avocado spray or olive oil spray not allowed not even a spritz or two on air fried potato wedges. ? It says zero calories.
If you read the back of those I think it says something like a three second spray is 0 calories. I have never sprayed it for three seconds so it’s definitely not calorie free. If you can do that though have at it
Hi there - Oil is technically not considered a part of a whole food plant-based diet; however, if you choose I'm sure a little spray is fine. That won't ruin anything. When you say allowed, please know that you can eat any way you'd like and that works for you :) I chose to eliminate oil because of the high-calorie content and high-fat content, which is bad for my gallbladder. But a spray here and there is fine for me and for most people :). Just depends on your body.
This is a sub-zero. It was here when we moved in, we just had the cabinet makers create panels to match the cabinets. This is no exaggeration - the fridge itself is 25 years old and this particular model isn't sold any longer, but they have a newer one for sale now.
