I hve a 2017 polo 1.2 gt tsi nd god’s grace never had any issues whether it is the notorious DSG gearbox or injectors or ABS or brakes or any sort of equipment malfunctions. That to i never took it to the service centre for servicing,i do it on my own. There is jst one thing to keep in mind though tht these german engines are very sensitive for the quality of fuel and oil. I always put in XP95 for the fuel and AMS oil 5w 30 fully synthetic engine oil. I have clocked over 70k kms in the car and its been a very pleasant experience throughout..hope it’s helpful 😊
I've recently purchased volkswagen taigun GT DSG, I definitely agree that volkswagen has cut cost when it comes to overall quality of the plastics they used inside. for example, the door panel rattles when the music is on just over 50% volume even tho the bass is not on full. also, you make great videos. definitely makes spending my time on youtube worthwhile haha.
I own a polo 1.2 tdi and it's been 90k on odometer , but I haven't got any problems yet, I use it a on long trips as well as on daily short trips, but not a single part failed, I had to change my brake pads recently, Injector failures are caused because of fuel contamination, so whenever the car clocks 30k I change the diesel filter and use liqui moly injector cleaner , the mechanic plays important role when it comes to a German car ownership....I am doing service outside asc but haven't got any issues till date..not even a single warning light
Bro, please give details on the dsg transmission performance/response in various scenarios like city driving, bumper to bumper traffice, overtaking, cruising, hill driving and manual shift response
Awesome content! I'm planning to buy a skoda suv where i prefer a yet (though i have no option other than buying a used 4x4) than a kushaq? Can you make a video explaining a yeti versus kushaq and which is best in spite of one being extinct and one being new to market? Thnx in advance!
injectors blowing off is a pain in a wrong place . touchwood i havent had a problem with my vento tdi still running with 1 lac 30 thousand km. problem is with rats bitting wires.
Bhai what about carbon deposits? Have you faced any on the intake valves because of this being a GDI engine? Have you used higher octane petrol or just regular petrol till now?
Hi Angad, that is a very important question you have asked which people tend to ignore. The Required Octane Rating is mentioned on the inside of the fuel tank lid. If it is 91 Octane, then get normal fuel, and if it is 95 then get premium fuel. As I have used both the fuels, I can clearly feel the difference in engine nocking, juicing higher speeds and reduced roughness in the engine in premium vs normal fuel. Shelling few extra bucks will bring a drastic difference to your car health's, performance and joy of driving.
I replaced my rotors @19k kms And abs sensor has been replaced 4 times under warranty. Ac vents broken 3 times not covered under warranty. Engine mount also not covered under warranty 😢
