Another movie with them is blended. It’s a fun lighthearted movie actually filmed in location in Africa.

I think I like this movie because I like Drew Barrymore's performance more than I dislike the humor that is so specific to so many of Adam Sandler's comedies. I'd have liked this a lot more as a pure romcom, with a different buddy for the lead guy, less raunchy humor, etc. It could even still star Adam Sandler. He's a great actor! I just think it'd be improved by someone else writing around the same concept. Drew is perfect in this though. She's so sweet, so instantly likeable, that it's hard not to feel terrible for her on her first bad day.

Lots of spam eaten in Hawaii. There's a spam jam festival every year that has interesting spam foods 😋 I really liked this movie.

Please if you love this movie you also gonna love "OVERBOARD (2018)" With Anna Feris. ❤ It got the same comedy/romance/emotion feel to it.

Bittersweet as this was a movie my wife and i watched several times as she loved this film. Hits different loosing my angel 2 years ago after 17 years together. Was a fun watch and you got the jokes and the heart of this film. Appreciate the upload

Ah, damn. You just mentioned The Wedding Singer. I figured you had seen that, but figured I'd mention it. I prefer The Wedding Singer over 50 First Dates, but I do love them both.

lol Yeah, I tried not to mention The Wedding Singer TOO much as to not influence my opinion of this movie. I agree in the end that TWS is better. :)

Automobile Enthusiast Fact: The yellow car Lucy (Drew Barrymore) drives is a 1973 Volkswagen Thing. Casting Notes Fact: The only pairing of Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore directed by Peter Segal. The other two were directed by Frank Coraci. Family Affair Fact: In an early scene, a dentist and a woman in the dentist's chair are seen talking with each other. @okchristina awesome, going off your reaction to this movie, I believe you'll like that one. Adam Sandler also made a movie called The Cobbler not too long ago, which, in my opinion he doesn't get the credit he deserves from it.

Thank you. This, "The Wedding Singer," and strangely, "Little Nicky" were pretty much the first and only Adam Sandler movies that appealed to me. Luckily, and as it should be, there are many more people He does appeal to.

I haven't seen very many Sandler comedies. I've seen a few of his more serious films of which I was always very pleasantly surprised. But for reals, The Wedding Singer is one of my favorite all time movies! :)
