IN JULY I HAVE A RACE WITH 3000 METERS OVER THE SEA LEVEL WITH 46 KM. 23 KM UP AND 23 KM DOWN. IF I DON'T LIVE NEAR THE MOUNTAIN, WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST FOR ME?
Someone else just asked that question too. I’m going to make a video on it within the next few weeks. If you have access to a treadmill you can practice running up hill. Or if you have a stadium you can run up and down the stairs. Or if you live in an apartment building you can go up and down the stairs there. There’s lots of options but I’ll go over it more in depth in a full video. Thanks for watching!
@@varguita73 you can use the treadmill at the gym to get vertical gain. That’s what a lot of even the professionals do to train for long non technical uphill running.
@@runningforviews omg!! Thank you so much ! You are the best! I don’t much have time to go to the mountains and also I won’t have much support for water/food etc if I start going for a long runs. I am thinking about urban ultra running haha! So I get stop at stores to get water and food 😂
@@thaisjones2949 urban ultra running is definitely a thing! But you can also get ready for a mountain ultra while living in flatter places. It’s just whatever you want to do. But yeah, I’m excited to do a video on it. I’ve been wanting to make it for a while but now that I know people want it it’ll be coming in the next month or so.
