The past 5 months have consisted of traveling with the karmagawa.com team to 7 countries around the world, documenting the degradation of locals reefs and the critical state of the oceans. We interviewed many marine biologists, locals, and did a lot of diving. There’s one thing when you see things on a screen.. then it’s another when you see it for your own eyes. For this Kansas boy, its been an eye opening experience. It’s so scary what’s happening to our oceans and how fast we’ve ruined it. Out of sight out of mind? Ignorance is bliss? Welp... that lead us here, and it's up to you and me to change this!

Thank you all for sharing this film with your friends and family! 2020 was a hectic year for all of us, and sadly the single-use plastic pollution increased substantially with restaurants using primarily plastic take out. I'm determined to help, and I believe one of the best ways to do so is to find new startups and innovations that are tackling the problem and highlight them across our social media platforms. Awareness is key! If we can get people to support the products that are helping our environment rather than polluting it, then we will make a HUGE change! Watch the whole video. I am a huge critic but couldn’t really argue with what’s being showed here. Disgusting what people have done to the planet. Maybe the great reset is a good thing? Just don’t fancy being part of a communist one world government. We can all do our part by using less plastic and chemicals. Not sure if more government control is what we need or want. Surely we can fix our planets problems without more government control?

In the early 70s the main- stream warning of HEAT TRAPPING GREENHOUSE GASSES was taught in schools (elementary school) but nobody knew what to do yet, i guess. Separating plastics from compostables is good

@@rogerf7229 oil and gas may be lying to us. Apparantly plastic can only be recycled once or twice. Most of it winds up in landfills. Oil and Gas make a lot of money off of plastic. Best to re use as much as possible. Reduce and re use are the first 2 r's.

Had a trip to hospital yesterday my weekly chemotherapy sessions and not used to being a passenger had noticed the huge amounts of litter the length of the A47 from Norwich to dereham why would anyone feel the need to throw rubbish out of a car window I can only presume there mentaly challenged what other reasons would there be when everyone had rubbish bins at home at least Norfolk was beautiful in the last few decades

I remember when this video had just come out. i had seen it all the time on my recommended, and i was moved by it two years ago. and now it has inspired my freshman school project. Hey READ THIS!!!!!!!! If you could make ALL plastic disapear, would you? If you said yes you have just killed millions of lives. Plastic is used to make life saving things like helmets, or stuff like cars. Where if we used metal, it would be to heavy. The problem isnt plastic, its what WE do with it. Wanna save the world? Here are some ways YOU can help: bought a plastic bottle? Dont throw it away, use it like a cup. And recycle it. ALSO you should try to throw away as less plastic as possible. AND re-use stuff like plastic bags and anything plastic!

You do realize coral are living beings? Coral reefs are born all at the same time, and die off at the same time. Living beings die. That's what happens. As soon as the current reefs die, new ones will immediately grow in their place to be a new reef for hundreds more years.

And without the corals being healthy adults, they will be able to be killed off faster. Which will destroy underwater ecosystems.

I gotta tell ya , after seeing the videos of how dead our corral reefs looked, it brought tears to my eyes. Please people, no matter where you are, where you live, help save the reefs and spread the word HAVE RESPECT OF THE OCEANS. DON'T LITTER AND WATCH FOR OTHERS THAT DO! Educate for those that need to be educated . Thank God this has been recognized when it was, so that a reason to take a stand, makes the difference.Thank you.

When I heard and seen all this I was heartbroken I did not know that Coral can be so important I really love animals I love the fish and I bet the fish loves the coral as much as we do in this was really important to learn so we can protect and help the animals that and now we got to help and protect them so those don't get extinct it is very scary I did not realize all this until I heard all this and seen all of this I was so heartbroken and then I thought that maybe we can try to recycle stuff and this is really important for us to remember and I love coral and fish and animals in those people real love those things I want to try to help and protect the waters and I will protect my pond to and fish I do not know algae can be helpful and I did not realize we're killing the fish and our our portal and now I feel bad that were killing life but now we're protecting it and thank you thank you telling us that we are hurting the life that we didn't know and thank you so much for letting us know thank you so much💔💔💔💔❤😭🐟🦈
