Gosh, I live in N CA / been through big fires too many times. I am watching " Watch Duty" updates in CA and NM. This lady is right and smart to be ready and gone. Hopefully, defensible space and FF can save Sun Valley, NM. That fire is one nasty beast.
Depends,, if your a 501c, they get well taken care of by our great grandchildren's tax burden when they get born. F.E.M.A. does pretty well with that too. Great system they got going here in the U.S.of A. Non charities are allowed 97cents out of a dollar collected or donated too keep for there exspense cost's of being charitable. F.E.M.A, spends about the same for there jobs salary and that too is added to the NATIONAL DEBT for the next generation to pay for. These desaster are quite the desert for thee un employable, don't ya think?

I watched, thanks to Earthcam cameras, the clouds and billowing smoke in the background as the citizens of Riudoso evacuated their city. My concerns are with them as are my prayers.

The fires are in California - north of Los Angeles. The two torrid storms named Albert and Beryl are in process at the counties from Bexar County,Texas and South to all of the counties from Hidalgo County - north and west of Hidalgo,Cameron and Maverick Counties will be getting rain for four days - from Hidalgo County - to north in Bexar County.
