Welcome back to another Altezza update! I've just got the car back from a friend of a friend who's got it all sorted out. Nearly every complaint I have about the car is now fixed. And just in time for someone to buy it and me lose a bunch of money on it :(.
This car is wild, fun and absolute maniacal. But I've learned it is not the kind of car that suites my tastes, so I've decided to sell it. I'm going to try to pick up an obscure kei car that I can hoon to my heart's content.
At any rate, here's some nice shots of the car doing hoodlum things!

It is. The main reason I fixed it was to sell it more easily. Unfortunately the car has since been totaled.

Altezza RS200 is such a great car, beautiful proportions and weight unlike the modern sadness like 1750KG BMW 240i. I'd give anything for a JZ engine in one.

Chassis really handles the power well. But highly recommend wide body

What was it doing before hand? I only have 1gfe turbo just got it tuned , but she stalls coming up to lights was it just the tune ???? Would yours just stall rolling nutral up to lights ? Some days it doesn’t stall some days it does, also mine would struggle to start on coldies . Did a tune solve your problem ??? What ecu you got

Had fconvpro but recommend link instead. Issue was it would stall after letting off the gas on initial drive. Would generally be fine if driven for a while. Problem (if I recall correctly) was too much fuel at certain points and solved with a tune

@@AmateurEnthusiasm thanks for your reply , yes my tuner recommended a link or Hal tech to, I did get a tune but still is very temperamental, do you think bad injectiors ? In saying that the tune guy should have picked that up yes ?

@@taylor9255 I’m no tuner and I can barely change my oil. But I’d reckon you’d have to look at a fuel map to know if your injectors are on the fritz.

Foam filters are trash lol, get a proper cone filter and isolate it from engine bay temps.

Sold it and the new owner totaled it in 10 mins. Never opened the engine. It was a Ebisu Missile. Check out that video!

Well that filter DEFINITLEY needed to go away...how was that not item #1. So Without the filter it might be grumpy at idle and things based on how that's tuned. Just measure the pipe diameter and order a generic KandN or other washable oil/cotten vs foam. The turbo does not like objects hitting it like foam pieces or random debris and possibly water/mud/dirt if its raining a lot. Also if the sparkplugs are old and havn't been gapped in a while it will be grumpy.

I’ve got the jdm Altezza with 3sge it’s not bad but could do with more power..so you think the 2jz is perfect for it? Power to weight ratio wise..I’m only asking because it feels so perfect at the moment but would upgrade though

I think 300hp is perfect for the chassis. More than that and you have to go wide body. This one was way too much power for available tire.
