A real Samarkand flatbread should be usable for three years. To do this, it was enough to sprinkle it well with water and warm it up in a tandoor (a clay oven where cakes are baked). All people who have visited Samarkand at least once will not leave without Samarkand cakes. They come in different sizes: small ones with sesame seeds, large ones covered with glaze and always incomparably delicious, so there is nothing surprising in the legends about them.
