Hi Lee great video as always mate I just carnt believe how quick you get on with you big jobs you said you got the ok from your wife next minute you dug it out bottom drains in and concrete in unbelievable so fast and that is so much work and you done all on your own just brilliant
Flipping hec Lee do you ever stop mate god knows what your gunna do when your finally happy with your pond your gunna be so bored 🤣 great progress tho mate proper grafter 👍
Hi Lee, that pond is gonna look cool, saw your last video with the drawing, man you can graft, even in the rain, u may have felt sad, but the future is even brighter, I'm still meaning with my pond after five years, lol, to build another pond while u have one and a family plus a business well slap yourself on the back you are massive, well done to you, if I lived near and wasn't working the worst hours ever plus looking after my mum and dad who has just got over heart surgery I would give you a hand for a coffee, you are a well positive guy, thanks for the updates I know you guys put alit of time and effort into entertaining us near mortals, take care bud.
Thanks Scott! Believe it or not I still do get to sit down for an hr at night too 😁 It don’t feel like graft to me mate! I love it and loosing weight 👌🏻🥷
@@leehadfield6881 does make you fit doing koi ponds, the amount of food I have missed, and at 50, I look in the mirror and tell myself what woman wouldn't 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆
Amazing progress Lee ! This will be up and running in no time….. 🍾 The next problem will be when you have both ponds running together. You’re gonna want to keep them both. 😏 🤔 😂😂
@@leehadfield6881 I think your schematic of a 500 gallon bio trumps my offer of an Oase 90,000….. the offer stands….. or anyone you know who’d make good use of it. I resent selling it to Charlatan’s…. I’ll give it free to a good home! Duty of care to fish and filtration! 🤓
This guy never seems to surprise me. Everyone else keeps a giant coca cola bottle full of 2p's. Lee keeps a container full of one and two pound coins🤷♂️🤣🤣 Oh how the other half live 😂👍👌
Hi Lee, great progress , love your enthusiasm , do you use wizard fibre in the cement finish before fibreglassing . If you do would you like several boxes that I have going spare ? Free gratis , can’t see me building any new ponds in the future , just let me know if you are interested, will keep watching ,keep up the good work😁
@@leehadfield6881 hi lee , no problem if you don’t know what it is then you clearly don’t use it , but it’s finely chopped fibreglass that is added to strengthen concrete skim before fibreglassing, but if you should hear of anyone who could use some I have plenty.
@@leehadfield6881 for the money, look at Makita 8406 - a few of my plumber mates have them. I’ve got a proper Milwaukee core drill but that will set you back a fair few hundred. I’ve had 2 of those Dewalt drills and both have lasted less than 12 months. If you are planning on using it a lot, get a Bosch 1600A001G8 GDE 162 Dust Extraction for Core Cutters - sucks the dust out of the hole as you drill and helps reduce it jamming.
Hi ya mate , I always have a change jar too can’t beat em and it’s amazing how much money you can accumulate in them !! I almost texted you to ask if they had collected the showa if they hadn’t I’d of been tempted myself cuz it was a lovely fish , ponds looking good bud 💪🏻👌
Blimey dude, your banging that out. thank God your slab was hard when that mud fell. I. must admit this pond is gonna be crazy, and built quickly.... lucky B@^&%D. 🤣😂🤣
i know you asked in you last video but as for you skimmer theres a webite called fractory that laser cut, sheet metal including stainless , you send them a 3d design and they give you a quote online and then cut and ship you the part, if you need help creating a 3d design let me know and i can do it for you. hope that helps
Good to hear, cant wait, ive spent the day digging my new pond, im converting my old goldfish pond into a koi pond, any tips on a filter that can live outside and is pump fed as i dont have space for a filter house
Lee how well.do you kown nethe in Wales I meet some funny people like get u Wells on go sheep sharing lol I never got that one boyoi or is it Wales thing
your cutting it wrong I wish I had seen your videos before you started I have cut all sorts of thing ranging from block to steal and concrete paving the heavy stuff you need a large angle grinder and a large diamond bit blade. If your near west yorkshire you can borrow mine. I hope this advise helps you. If you would like links to the stuff I bought off amazon just ask.
@@leehadfield6881 you could put a cover over pond i guess. you could also use a big fan to push the dust away from pond. and maybe use a vacuum to suck dust in also spraying water on blade will reduce dust.
