Its the extreme pressures that are brought upon when you up your horsepower big time. It happens to any car that wants to triple their horsepower.

Jeremy P I'm pretty sure that cooling system pressure remains in the same 18-20psi range no matter the horsepower (unless influenced by a faulty head gasket). As an example, the Audi R8 reservoir cap vents at 23 - 28psi (granted, only 316HP for the CNDA engine I just looked up). I think in this case, it was a deteriorated coolant hose.

Head gasket is dead... not a hose you can add up all the hp of the world and your psi in your coolan did not change... if you do the job by yourself 2-300 $ box solve the probleme

4G64 and 4G63/T are NOT economy cars. Have you seen the coolant jacket in the block? With no modifications to the block, it's taken 50-70 PSI without cracking. Try that in a B or even K series.

thank you sir it isnt oil bc the spray on the windshield wasnt oil it was coolant which is why it was steam and not a splatter of oil and no oil was spraying anywhere either

Yea its no big deal. turbo coolant hose just decided to burst. My ARP head studs were slowly starting to stretch at 33PSI that im running the car at. I replaced the ARP from standards to L19s after this happened and no issues ;)

The car started to hesistate exactly like his @ 1:18 and then what do u know smoke comes out of the engine im like oh fuck thats it no more car. Assuming its just a head gasket, if you DIY it's about $100 for new headbolts and gaskets. At a shop its closer to $500 w/ parts.. and thats with the assumption the head(s) isn't cracked

There was no white smoke comming out of the exhaust thank god. Just made a weird sound for that 0.4 miles of driving it. Meter was on H the whole time then shut off. Wen try to start it cranked but no start. Now doesnt start at all. Im praying its just the hose now that i watched this video. I gave the keys to a nice guy around my neighborhood. They took my car today to inspect it. (Via pully) Keeping fingers crossed ! He said he will do it for $300..

***** all manual car's are parked in neutral regardless of having remote start. even without a remote start he would be parking with it in neutral and the e brake pulled... it's not really trust in the e brake but, more so trust in the manufacture making a reliable none malfunctioning e brake. there isn't a "park" gear in manual lol

I'm pretty certain your ebrake is not hydraulical, but mechanical. Also, my ebrake (and so many others) is just as reliable as yours. However, it's a second security and also the chance of losing your car and risking others lives and property because of you forgetting either one is much lower. Just agree, will you.
