And some people still says these kind of jars are expensive.. like can’t you see how each piece is detailed, designed, and handled with the most delicate care? You’re paying for the artistry and uniqueness of each piece.
@@karenozelleb88 also each piece holds the Artist energy, we dont only buy a single art piece but also we "buy" a story. Handcraft are so fantastic, they are filled with love. Its like someone giving you flowers they bought and flowers that themself raised with care and love and gifted you. Huge difference 😊🙏
@ why should he? Maybe he has fun doing it. Why should he stop doing it, just because there are wiser ways to use the time? I mean, why do you watch RU-vid? You could also use your time in a wiser way.
@ you just accidentally proved that it's even more precious. People love exclusivity. Since this is made by hand, it would be unique and imperfect. Why do you think people pray thousabds of dollars for a designer bag? It's the exclusivity.
What a beautiful jar! I love the two cameras as well. I found myself going back-and-forth between them as I was watching so very helpful to see the different angles. Thank you so much for sharing!
The jar was beautiful at any moment and yet he kept going adding more decorations. The final product was gorgeous as the jar in the beginning with a few decorations! I was amazed, how the radius of the jar, made by hands matches the template, so he was able to divide it into equal sections!
It is so beautiful that I just shook my head in awe!! What a great video! I was in love with it, even before you put the 'lightening' lines!! Just fantastic 😍! Thank you 😍🤗❤️.
At my school, we never got to do any of this. They just said, here are some old egg boxes and empty toilet rolls, try and make something out of those ;)
You are truly a master. Stunning to watch you, sir. And I’m always amazed at how clean you stay! I end up with more clay in my hair!! The jar is exquisite.
Beautiful work. I learned a lot from your descriptive explanations. You edit your videos so well too, which makes them even more enjoyable. Thank you for sharing this.
🥺I want one, so beautiful. Your artistry blows me away, your so amazing it seems too simplistic but anyone who’s ever tried will understand, only looks easy because of the years of dedicated work, that makes it look easy.
I really enjoy that he actually explains what he’s doing so you can actually learn and not just be mindlessly entertained while retaining nothing useful. Actual educational content on RU-vid has become so rare in place of asmr content farm trash. I know it’s way more work, so I appreciate the effort all the more.
@@NekoJesusPie Yes, then it’s good. I’m only speaking for myself as a person who loves watching these types of videos but will most likely never going to give this is a try. I didn’t say this needs to be changed, I just said that _personally_ I could do without.
VERY NICE ONE MORNING NEWS PROGRAM TOP AND THE BEST TO YOU DEAR FRIENDS ALL & GOOD NIGHT HOW ARE YOU AND WHAT'S ARE YOU DOING TODAY NEWS PROGRAM TOP O.K. THANKS FOR YOU & I LOVE YOU ALLAH FINE IS ONE & NABI MUHAMMAD ☝☝☝👍👍👍❤❤❤✋✋
I hope you are doing well. I also hope you are making these videos from your own private studio. Sunnyvale never deserved you. They treated you like garbage, in my opinion. All those women were ignorant... Kristen, Diane, Nancy...
You are so good and the way you throw is relaxing and precise :) love to watch your videos. I'm a Potter myself and I hope to be as good as you one day.
I helped my mother back in the late 60s to early 70s on slip moldes of all different kinds of things from mugs to chess pieces to cookie jars hundreds of different molds. I've always found relaxing and satisfying fun in working with her. I'm about to retire and my mother passed away, but I still have the memories doing them watching you throwing on your site makes me wanting to get back in to this. thank you
This artisans they are just crazy AMAZING. I'm running not to miss anything yet I'm doing chores and watching.im even gasping with admiration. Thank you.
That lidded jar is beautiful. I wonder if mine will come out that nice. Final trim, slip application and chatter/sgraffito this week. One can only hope. :)
How do you approach glazing a piece like this. Do you want to show the slip and sgraffito with a clear glaze or chose a colored glaze that will react with the oxide in the slip?
Check the link, I currently list this covered jar on my Etsy. I just used red iron stain mix a bit of glaze and brush it over the black slip. The result is nice. www.etsy.com/listing/847806079/wheel-thrown-porcelain-covered-jar-with?ref=shop_home_active_11
Hsinchuen Lin so the red stain is brushed over the black slip and it turns that red /brown color? Or red stain is mixed in a glaze ( what color) then that is brushed over the black slip?
Skills! Every stage of this creation was awesome. The stimulation to the watchers eye brings a certain satisfaction. The brain must be releasing some kind of endorphins, lol; seriously.
