Got it apart. Hex shaft is rounded on the that free spin turtle. Want just put two set of gears with full lenght interior hex and a section of hex between them. Think it would work?
Not sure if that style had the full length hex shaft or if its sections. But sounds like you will have to replace the gears as the internal hex shape has been stripped. You will have to change out the shaft or shaft sections as well. Discmower Dr has alot of parts online. Good luck!
Hey I bought a 5209 last spring ran ok over the summer of 2020. But looking at your haybine my timing on the turtles are way off. Do they have to be 90 degrees every other turtle? Last year making my first round with the hyaline the last turtle with the tower on it flew off I'm guessing that happened because my timing is off?
