Same. I’ve never had any issue these fire safes but I’m getting into real safes at work.

Gets old to me watching all the videos of people just smashing them open.

Never had to open one of those but should be the same concept.

This same thing will work just use vice grips to turn it. Or since the dial is gone drill a hole at 9 o clock be careful not to hit the wheels and you’ll be able to see them to line gates up

It’s not really that thick. The metal isn’t think at all then you have the fire retardant but that is really easy (and messy) to drill through.

Yep. These can definitely be smashed open too. If you care about what’s in them you wouldn’t do that though.

I will take your recommendation under consideration. I also would question whether kids created the Hyundai Kia problem or Hyundai and Kia created the problem by being literally the only car manufacturers to not use anti theft technology that has been around since 1996.

Thank you for this video. I have a sentry supreme 5380 and I am at wits end how to get it open. It was a safe my darlin' kept with just a few things in from his mum. Nothing of great value. I have the combination but it has not been opened in over 7 years. It will not open. I do all I told to do but zilch. As for maniipulating it, well, it acts as if the auto lock engaged, why I have no idea but I do the 4 or more left, 3 right and 1 full to right then back to open and it stops around 83....but nothing. I don't want to destroy the safe, but clear it out and be able to get it working for other things. So short of a stick of dynomite, I'll see if I can drill. The only issue I see is my handle is between the left looking at the door and the dial,is that an issue ?`

@@gracealonewretchedtoredeem4413 the drill points on your safe are not the same as the one in the video. Your best bet is probably having a locksmith open it.

Retired law enforcement after 30 years of service. I can tell you criminals do not use these methods to open a safe like this. Every one I’ve ever seen was stolen from the premises then later beat open with a sledgehammer then dumped. Usually hit the center of the door until the bolts retract enough to open.
