This worked beautifully. I inherited a safe that was already open, but in the locked position. I figured it was worthless without having the combination, but before I threw it out, I decided to do a quick search and found this video. While I had to break the plastic cover off to get to the wheels, I was able to quickly recover the combination the first time using these steps. Thank you for giving an otherwise useless safe new life!
thank you for the suggestion i did the same by breakng open the plastic shield. This video was great too to do the rest of the job of recovering the code !
@@irisbjorkoskarsdottir-vail698 best bet is probably a locksmith but if it is this same safe you can break the dial off and carefully drill a hole to the left of the spindle and turn it with pliers. It accomplishes the same thing but safe is junk afterwards
