I was able to stomach the changes until I can see Peterbilt is doing away with our gauges, basically a big company looking dash, that’s a deal breaker especially at that price level. Will keep my 389 forever, no thank you!
The price shouldn't increase as it is the same truck as the 567/579 with a long square nose. The fancy wood grain panels are cheap plastic. Why don't they call it like it really is. At least my 96 MBZ had real wood grain panels in it. MBZ integrated aluminum strips in between the wood panels to prevent splinters. Maybe Paccar could learn from them. I'll keep my 567 thank you.
I don't get it, why not just leave a classic looking truck in the line up. I can't see any real old school trucker getting this. why did they trade a nice dash for plastic. nice trucks are coming to an end. Only thing left for a brand new nice truck is w9L. the 389 379 were so beautiful, such a hard one to take man.
