Can't thank you enough for this video. Ordered a replacement that was totally the wrong type. Had a go at repairing the old one by soldering the ribbon back in place. Used this video to reassemble and its working perfect. Thank you!!

Pásek jsem měl utržený a nevěděl jsem jak ho tam z5 namotat dle videa uděláno a perfekt díky. Středový kroužek jsem nerozebíral nebylo třeba.

Hi, did you solder the ribbon or did you use the yellow tape to join the ribbon.

Superbe video pour remonter le ruban, par contre pour le modèle avec le disque en laiton c'est une toute autre histoire, celui-ci doit être remonté dans une position bien spécifique ainsi que la petite roue dentée... sinon vous aurez des erreurs mécaniques, impossible à régler en passant par VCSD, j'ai fait une photo d'une pièce neuve pour palier au problème (introuvable sur le net ), étant donné que cette pièce gère le rayon de braquage , l'ESP, les capteurs de pression des pneus, le start&stop, la direction assistée électrique, le barilet clé de contact et le cale volant. Toutes les commandes au volant et le voyant airbag sont contrôlés uniquement par le ruban.... et dans tous les cas un passage sous VCDS est obligatoire afin d'effacer certains defauts, sur le fait d'avoir manipulé la pièce. ( c'est au ptit bonheur la chance, une sur 2 quoi ^^ )
