Thank you Paul, definitely the Takumi Sen 8 is a shoe to look for, make sure to try it before to buy, I only can use it rarely due to the pronation 🤷♂️
Fantastic comparison. The side by side video of all four shoes was brilliant and really made it obvious how each shoe responded to you. I only have recently got the Adios 7 and after 22.2km I am beginning to really enjoy them. I will definitely use them for my 5k races. The only issue I had with the Adios 7 is that they totally chewed up the back of my heel in the first 3km. No running shoe has ever caused such damage to my feet ( I have many shoes from different brands). Still, I persevered and am now covering the affected area with three layers of plasters. Works. I very much enjoy the feel of the Adios 7 and am looking forward to many more km's in these. I was originally hoping get hold of the Tekumi Sen 8 but they were sold out in my size, so I got the Adios 7 instead at a good discount. Looking at how your feet pronate in the Sen 8, I am glad I didn't get hold of them; I think they may not be suitable for me either. Great video, keep them coming.
Thank you so much! Yes unfortunately the Takumi Sen 8 doesn't fit to my running style. It is a great shoe, so that's a pity! But the Adios 7 is perfect, it is able to correct my little pronation and it is light, responsive and minimalist as I like. So I believe you did a great choice. For the heel issue, I know and it depends also from the shape of your heel, the lowered a bit the heel cup in comparison to the previous version, but I can imagine that such problem is still possible for certain runners... Anyhow, thank you for watching I will keep going 😊👍🏃🏻♂

Great review as always; many times shoes that are commonly referred to as the best in their category don't give the same benefits to each runner, or even don't work at all. Just to be clear, on the other side, Nike's Zoom Fly 5 were rated almost a failure by most people who had a chance to run in them, but anyway some well known reviewer almost praised its good features despite being heavy.

I know what you mean, maybe due to the initial enthusiasm for the new shoe ... but I believe an humble and honest opinion is always the best even if sometime it is not the most popular
Great review of the Adidas series. Funny enough it is the series that I am most comfortable with, after transitioning from Asics. Takumi Sen 8 is an AMAZING shoe, really love it, it really feels great at those faster paces, also have the Adios 6 for slower, day to day runs and the Pro 2 is, indeed, a great choice for Marathons - my choice, anyway :) Keep uploading great content! :)
Thank you! Great to hear that! Yes I also use the Adios 6/7 for day to day runs but unfortunately I can't use the Takumi as I would, for fast workouts. For the Pro 2 you are right. If I would have had a different running style we would have the same rotation... and I would have enjoyed the Takumi Sen 8 😰

Great video! This was a timetrial week for me. I ran a new Pb in the 5 K on asphalt road this week with the Adios 6. I ran a new personal best on a hilly gravel/dirt road 10 K with 200 m elevation with the Adios 6. It works very well on dirt/gravel roads and also light trail. I'll take some easy runs and try a 10 K in some days in the Adios 6 on Asphalt. I think the Adios 6 is the fastest shoe I have for 5-10 K. I will certainly buy the Adios 7 soon. I just dont seem to run as fast for 5-10 K in the Vaporfly.
Great review. I have all those shoes and the Adios 7 and Takumi are my go to shoes. Ive only done two duathlons so far in the Takumi sen 8's and Im starting to tear up the outsole on the heel. Im down to the lightstrike pro already so Im guessing they wont last long unfortunately. The Adios 7's are humming along like a panzer. LOL
Thank you! yes definitely the Adios 7 is more noisy due to the thicker outsole... For the outsole of the Takumi Sen 8 I have the same impression it won't last longer, but I won't get to this point because unfortunately I can use it very rarely
I’ve been using the Takumi Sen 8 as a training shoe and I’ve a lot of miles in them. The rubber pads at the back lifted a bit on each shoe at the beginning and I was very disappointed in them and thought they were going to be terrible but I’ve a lot of miles in them since and they light strike pro has held up amazingly and the outsole hasn’t deteriorated any further
