This was my first year hunting with a 6.5 Creedmoor and I have to say it has really impressed me. Shooting 143 grain it’s dropped every deer this year where it stood. I mean exactly where they were standing. Thats the kind of tracking I like. Cool vidja !

First off, GIVE WTW A LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE. 6.5cm ain’t cheap yet he still gives us these videos! Second, this good to think about especially when hunting. Hornady black is bad ass it was great in my Ruger American. It shoots 5/16th groups in my Remington 700 at 100yds. There's a 6.5 CM easy button for mils. Take the yardage and drop 2 mills, 400yds=2mils, 700yds=5mils. And so on, it works out to 1k yards.

Well? A few months ago during a live stream, I understood that anyone with a 6.5 CM had a "man bun" and "wore skinny jeans"? A week prior to that video my home was burglarized and all my guns were stolen, heart broken and with little money to spend, i found a good deal on a Savage Axis 2 Precision in 6.5 CM at a pawnshop for cheap and i bought it. It lifted my spirits a bit, was excited about it, and on the next WTW video i commented about it, the video after that was the live stream that cut me down a notch. 😕Suprised to see wtw make a 6.5 video, didnt see a man bun or skinny jeans under the hat or plaid shirt

In 40+ years Ive never had a factory gun shoot like this thing!! My Sellier and Bellot 156 grain looks about like your groups. Since I got it, my Ruger & Winchester Model 70 rifles have been collecting dust. Just a couple questions, do you shoot them hat load in your rifle over a Chrono? Your dad rifle may not be getting what they e box claims, 100 fps makes a lot of difference at longer ranges. Do you measure how high over the bore your scope is mounted. Getting this measurement right will change your drop chart figures. Using these correct figures to calculate your drop chart may make your chart more inline with your data from shooting. It has made my calculations much more accurate for my shooting. Try adding the figures into your drop calculator to see how much it changes your drop chart.

@@rowdybroomstick6394 No. 7.62 x 54R is not a Nato round. That is however a very good question to ask. It is a very common hunting round in Europe and Scandinavia. Commonly used on elk, moose, deer, and bear. 6.62 x 54R is also among older rounds that Russia used to use before they switched to 7.62 x 39, and is still commonly used by hunters there as well. I would suggest for more context to check out Forgotten Weapons, Ron Spomer, Brandon Herrara, and Garand Thumb on youtube. These guys all have done some studies and content using those rounds.
