Ive been using the paratrooper for 4 month now since i saw it somewhere. I will never go back to others method.

If you use the Paratrooper lace, take you foot out of the boot lace it up, now move the boot like your walking and see how the lace relaxes then straighten boot and see the lace tighten up. I lace my boots tightly and then readjust during the day. Never blisters.

Thank you for the support and feedback! There'll be plenty of bug eye thumbnails coming haha. And yeah, loads of reviews coming in the latter part of the year. I'm breaking in several really great boots now and writing down thoughts/opinions so August through December is going to be pretty rockin' with boot reviews.

I have always done the Italian Corkscrew my Mom taught me that this was best way my Grandfather always used to used that way while he was in the Army and throughout the First World War. I just bought the Ozark Trail Range boot, 6 eyelets one hook on top. What's the best method of lacing them for break-in and preventing heel blisters?

Is there an advantage, or benefit, from using corkscrew/navy lacing? It's the most interesting look imo, but is there an advantage to it (like, say, giving extra support in a specific area of the boot?)?

some of these advanced techniques, like outside bar straight lace, is just a bit complicated once you had about 8 beers. lol. I always just go back to the criss cross

There is another type of corkscrew that I learned in the academy. Tie a knot at 1 end of the lace. Than go through the 1st eyelet. Go across horizontally from the outside in. On the 3rd, go inside out just like the Italian. But after the last eyelet, you brade that end of the lace instead of tieing it off. Lastly tuck in that brade into the side of your boots. There is no knot to see but a pain in the ass to do if you have a very long lace. Unbrading it to take off is much easier though.

Your cross-cross lacing is actually display lacing. IMO the best method is an outside bar on the bottom like you did with display, then inside out criss-crossing, and always left over right. Criss-cross is inside out.

This guy's voice is like sandpaper to my ears.... And then he starts off with telling us his favorite way to lace his boots ...and then shows the most common from the factory boot lace method that everyone already knows how to do . This is a waste of time.
