Dear Sir, may these exercises can be done by the patients having chronic Degenerative Disc Disease? One Physical therapy doctor of Jalandhar told me that extension exercises like Bridging/ Bujanghasan / Salvasana strictly avoided by the patients suffering from DDD. I would like to request you please clear the confusion.

Very accurate and short and informative video without any unwanted talk. I have practicing this excercise only of L4 and L5. It works wonder if you do it regularly.

Please suggest me sir 🙏🙏 MRI OF THE LUMBAR SPINE TECHNIQUE: Axial and sagittal T1W, T2W and STIR images were acquired with 0.3 Tesla Open MRI. FINDINGS Presuming five non-rib bearing lumbar type vertebral bodies, the examination reveals: Loss of lumbar lordosis suggestive of paraspinal muscle spasm. No spondylolisthesis. Vertebral bodies are within normal limits in signal intensity and morphology. No evidence of vertebral body compression. The end plates show mild surface irregularities suggestive of subchondral degeneration. Facet joints show hypertrophy and reduced joint spaces suggestive of arthropathy. The conus medullaris terminates at L1 V and appears normal. The paraspinal soft tissue is normal. At L3-4 level mild posterior disc bulge noted indenting the the thecal sac. Moderate spinal stenosis noted. No neural foraminal encroachment. At L4-5 level mild posterior disc bulge noted minimally indenting the thecal sac . Bilateral minimal foraminal encroachment noted. Disc desiccation , disc height reduction and posterior protrusion at L5-S1 level causing severe spinal stenosis, compression of bilateral traversing nerve roots (right more than left) and bilateral mild neural foraminal encroachment .Minimal caudal migration of disc noted. Thecal sac AP diameter:(mid sagittal) L1 - L2 - L2 - L3 - L3 - L4 - L4 - L5 - L5 - S1 - 10.6 mm 9.4 mm 7.0 mm 9.9 mm 5.5 mm IMPRESSION 1. Loss of lumbar lordosis suggestive of paraspinal muscle spasm. 2. Disc desiccation , disc height reduction and posterior protrusion at L5-S1 level causing severe spinal stenosis, compression of bilateral traversing nerve roots ( right more than left ) and bilateral mild neural foraminal encroachment .Minimal caudal migration of disc noted. 3. Mild posterior disc bulge at L3-4 and L4-5 levels with moderate spinal stenosis at L3-4 . 4. End plate changes and facetal arthropathy as described above suggestive of degeneration .

@@priyoda497 just did some yoga asanas and pranayama regularly . No i didn't went for any physiotherapy . I think changing lifestyle is important to combat or control the problem. Best possible treatment to control or eliminate back issues are : 1. Walking or brisk walking 2. Avoid salt and sugar and drink more water.(to control fat levels) 3. Exercise ( most important) and lastly 4. Remain stress free ( coz stress adds fat ) and be joyful . That's it.

Sir my MRi report:minimal left extraforaminal proteusion ofL2L3 disc with out any nerve root compression . Mild diffuse bulge with left extraforaminal protrusion ofL3 L4 disc seen causing left inferior neural foraminal stenosis with out any never root compression. Diffuse bulge ofL4 L5 disc seen indenting thecal sac and bilateral L5 traversing nerve roots

Please give me a proper solution. I am Abdur Rahman. I am Bangladeshi. I am a banker. My L5-S1 disc extrusion.. When i go for a walk or standing I feel pain in my leg, but i can walk. I always wear lumber corset belt. According to your speech I am not in the last stage...But i am worry about my MRI report where L5-S1 AP Diameter is 1.4 mm.. Please give me a proper suggestion. Will I have to go for a surgery

I have been suffering from Lower back pain for 6 months. My MRI report tells that 1. There is loss of lumbar lordosis. There are partial disc desiccation changes at multiple vertebral levels. 2. L4-L5 Level- There is global disc bulge seen with central disc extrusion; there is mild narrowing of central spinal canal and the bilateral subarticular zone with contact of bilaeral L5 traversing nerve root, there is moderate narrowing of the left foramen with contact of the left L4 exiting nerve root. 3. There is ligamentum flavum hypertrophy at multiple vertebral levels. Disc bulge C6-C7 level. What can be done to be free form this . I would remain thankful for your advice.

Sir mene bohut ilaj karwa Liya bohut pese lga diye lakin koi fark nahi pda back pain ki wajah se meri job b chali gae vese main ab ye apki btai exercise ajj se he start krunga plzz sir apna no send kr do agar muje kuch puchna hua to main apko call krunga....... plz... thanks....

Hi sir, Sufrng from l5 s1 disc protrusion.. Going for physiothrpy for 14 days... Previously pain is there all time..but now Im only getting pain while sitting and walking more than 30 min.. Is my physiotherapy working or not?

You have shown many exercises but a old age and weak person is unable to perform such exercises ,a young person can perform this kind of exercises .So always think of every age and body structure of every person .

Curvature is altered. Osteophytic change is seen over lumbar vertebrae. Disc spaces reduced between L4-L5 with end plate sclerosis. Features are suggestive of degenerative changes. Correlate clinically & further investigarion of MRI.
