(Sigh.) Sadly, I would need to learn how to produce A.I. in the future because my future would definitely depend on it. But I also wish I played football ⚽️ more to train to be the next athlete in the Strike Squad to win the World Cup for Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹.
This was great fun, big up to VAV for having a solid strategy. Not entirely sure how you encoded your neural net inputs, @AIA but that's a hard task for deep learning to complete as the search space is so large!
@@AIAdev :D yeah, true you can see that. AI and networking are my 2 focus points and my mind went racing with ideas. Single agent problems are much easier, VAV basically formulating good single agent, emergent teamplay rules. And props to you for trying the ML route which today is the first thought every programmer has when "hard problem".
Just by watching Vav’s section, I could tell he was probably going to win, since he had a straight forward strategy, that made enough sense for it work
I love competitions were some contestants are like "Ok here's my exact strategy, efficient use of the time allotted, and expert knowledge of the methods I'm going to use" and meanwhile 1actose is like "Everyone on my team is friends and they support each other! :D" he'd totally be me in this situation lmao
Really loved this video. One piece of feedback I'd give is that when the matches started it was really hard to tell which team was which youtubers' ai because I don't know what country they're each from, and not all of them said their country(or if they did I immediately forgot it). Loved the video and would love to see more stuff like this
Brooo this video is so fire I love when ai plays games but I don’t find many vids and they are often weird games and ur comming up with the best idea less gooo subbed❤
This is such a cool idea, I could totally see this AI-soccer as an actual thing. It have the same feeling as that micro-mouse, robot-wrestling and such events
This was amazing! As soon as I heard Vav's ideas I was cheering for him to win it all. It was the most thoughtful implementation and he deserved the win. I'd love to see more of this type of video!
Vav easily had the best approach - But very fun challenge all around. I love this sort of idea for a dev challenge. Maybe consider an AI game jam in the future if the idea is popular enough? Robotics competitions are already pretty popular, and I'd love to take my own crack at it.
@AIAdev Awesome video. What would be more fun is if you share the game and your channel subscribers also make AI's to compete with each other and even challenge the other youtubers AI's as well. I think that might also be engaging.
Cool! I do like the idea of having Devs make the best AI. How about a snake vs snake AI controlled game dev challenge? Or a jump man vs jump man AI challenge to the finishing line?
I think it would be interesting to do a second tournament, with 10 devs (and some of the devs from the last tournament, but they can choose to create a new AI or submit an old one), and see on how the older ones stack up now that there's been some field testing.
Very cool concept and I hope to see more of it! Some other ideas for an AI game could be a team based 2D Plattformen AI where you kill the enemy by jumping on then, but at the same time you can use your teammates as jumping pads/trampolines to get higher. And maybe give one of the three teammates a Mario fireball (with gravity and Bouncing) which stuns one analyst and has a short cooldown timer.
AI-gentina getting destroyed is the most satisfying thing I got out of this 😂😂😂 And Floky losing to a buzzer beater goal is so sad, soccer can really be that cruel...😢😂😊
mode 1 when the enemey has the ball draw a line from the goal (from the closest to the enemy) to the enemy and make sure all your bots and gaurding one enemy by being on the line. run to the ball when it is shot. mode 2 you have the ball run to goal and try to score 👍
So entertaining! Please make more!! Would be very fun to see coders tackle a game where the "personality" of the AI is a little more visible. American football would be super cool!
Kudos to all devs for entertaining us soo much... but wtf did polymars started with "when i was a kid" & that "half eaten chicken wing"is the most American thing I've ever seen...lol
A strategy that might work The general defensive strategy is as follows The goalkeeper should stay in his post when the ball is in their half The defender should chase down anyone with the ball when the ball is in their half The play maker should pick any random player inside his half that doesn't have the ball to prevent passes The striker should always stay in the opponents half and just run around Attacking strategy The goalkeeper should try to play long balls to the striker 80% and 20% of the time to the play maker The defender should pass to the between the striker 40% of the time and play maker 60% of the time The playmaker should run 50% of the time and pass to the striker 50% of the time The striker should run and score loose 80% of the time but pass like 20% of the time to play maker
I enjoyed ICOSO's development of football/soccer tactics from scratch, eg wanting one forward player to pass to even while defending. It would have been great to see where he got to working on this for six months.
In the open world that you’re making have you thought of making a type of shield spell like maybe a spell that takes a bit or a lot of mana that gives you a shield for a bit or maybe a spell that gives a quick block that drains a little amount of mana
Wished you'd had a round robin to start this off as I think seeing how different strategies pair off would've been interesting, this was a really fun watch with some good strategies bring made (Armenia in particular)
Just imagine the same for an auto Moba, auto Chess, auto Battle Royale or auto Brawl (stars) where everyone make their own champ (with an auto attack, 2 abilities and an ultimate). The rules would be: 1. Choose a rol for the champ (Assassin, Tank, Ranged DPS, Mage, Healer), the rol will dictate the type of damage and the default statistics. 2. The abilities have to be balanced on cooldown, effects and damage (abilities with high dmg have longer cooldowns, if it has effects on area, stun, root or dmg over time have mid dmg and cooldown, and so on...) 3. Every champion has to have a theme, the abilities and the looks must fit the judge's judgement for the character and cannot have similar abilities effects (like three stuns or multiple super healings, etc) 4. Have fun.
Ai-gentina shows the translational problem of trying to apply a machine learning model that has only been trained on data that is not representable for the evaluation dataset. Training your machine learning model more won't necessarily increase your odds at winning, you need to train it specifically on their team!
